WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Before moving over to Atousa, I spent over 5 months with my first attorney that instead of pro-actively creating my Paternity case, was constantly in reaction to Opposing Council driving the case. I finally decided to upgrade from that first attorney, researched online and found 5 highly rated attorneys that specialized in Family Law. I called them all and 3 of them were quick to respond, and super impressive on the phone. So I set appointments with them all. Atousa being one of them. The other 2 attorneys were extremely impressive, but Atousa was so many levels above them. She completely blew them away! She was so impressive during our meeting and we came up with a 'pro-active' strategy that would completely put us in the driver's seat for my case. I was sold and Atousa took over and immediately. Within a few days the tides of my case had turned and within a few weeks we were in a meeting with Opposing Council to settle the case. Lesson learned: first attorney had cheaper hourly rate, but his inability to drive my case cost me so much more time, stress and money than if I would have gone with Atousa from the very beginning. I really wish I knew about Atousa from the beginning, but I'm beyond content that I found her before the end!! Thank you Atousa, you are the absolute best!!!

My divorce was finalized in 2012, well at least I thought it was. My former spouse approached me three years later and asked for an increase in the already very high spousal support I was paying. I was under the impression that our Judgment had a cap on the amount of support I paid - well I was wrong. My former attorney, (who charged me $600.00 an hour!) did not do a great job at making sure I was protected (I don't think he actually did the writing himself). I was referred to Atousa through a friend who had previously worked with her on his divorce and he insisted that I call her because she did so many good things for him. I called. Her office called me back right away. I met her. She was extremely pleasant, reassuring, honest and friendly. She had a plan of action by the end of our first meeting. Now came negotiations... can this women negotiate! She was born this way. She didn't learn it. She has a sense for when to be "nice" and when to "play hard ball" and well.. she got me a deal that was fair and reasonable and most importantly she got me a deal that ended any future litigation. ATTENTION AND BEWARE IMHOFF AND ASSOCIATES are THIEVES! They do not live up to their mission statement, not even close. They talk a good talk at first and make you believe they have the best attorneys available to them anywhere in the United States that will fight for you. They make promises they do not intend to uphold. Once they have your money you are basically on your own. I notified Imhoff and Associates case manager, Mr. KIRKPATRICK, assigned to my case after my initial conversation with the apparently drunk, elderly attorney, Mr.BURICK of Redding CA, I told him, immediately, I had concerns with his choice of representation for me and I would like a different attorney. I only requested that he/she be sober and of a reasonable age. He said he would work on finding someone better suited for me but of course that never happened. He avoided me like the plague, does not return phone calls or answer emails or registered letters. When he did appear he was extremely rude and did not want to work with me, he fell asleep in the middle of the courtroom to where I had to wake him up. He fought for what the DA wanted not for me. Then the next 4 or 5 court dates he just did not show up, no notification or anything which landed me up in jail, twice, and cost me an additional $11,000 cash in bail money. In addition to the bail money I am now out the $6,000 I paid Imhoff for their so called representation and now representing myself. Mr. Burick did nothing for my case, he wrote no motions or petitions. The only thing he did was show up a few times. When I had my witnesses drive the 600 mile trip to the court hearing he refused to call either of them in my defense. Finally after the court notified him that he had to appear in court he lied to them and said he was on his death bed and could not finish the case. But what he told Imhoff and Associates was something totally different. Imhoff has known from the very first day that I was not pleased with the attorney they put on my case and they have done nothing to correct that and now that Mr. Burick lied to the court and to them to be removed from my case they have provided me with no one. They need to refund me back my money. They are nothing but Thieves! There are plenty of other attorney's out there DO NOT USE IMHOFF AND ASSOCIATES!!!!
