I was referred to Imhoff & Associates through the Employee Assistance Program at my place of work for an incident involving my son. Imhoff & Associates Attorney Tara Shams contacted me regarding my case. Tara listened to my situation, she was very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and caring of my situation. Tara explained the options to me and upon my decision handled the case from there. I was in need of legal services for my family member immediaty. I found Imhoff & Assoc via my work EAP program. They quickly took my case, made contact with my family member in jail in Calif to let him know he was being taken care of, and they kept in contact with myself and my family member. The best part is that they are nationwide and had an attorney in Texas that would handle the other end of the case. The Texas attorney was able to get my family members first few court appearances waived and on his last court date he appeared and his case was dismissed. We are extremely pleased with the services from Imhoff & Assoc.

I hired Atousa only for a consultation but even after spending only an hour with her I will tell you that she is literally a genius. Every. Single. Thing. She told me in that consultation came true and 100% in my favor. She said yes in areas I was unsure in which helped me feel confident. She said no in other areas where I was emotionally rebelling against a system I don’t understand, so I dropped issues and didn’t push them. While I want to hire her so badly, the other parent is such a bad actor in the situation it’s pretty cut and dry what happens per CA law. Atousa didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear or make me afraid so I hired her. She didn’t push me to sign a retainer agreement. All she did was lay my cards on the table and tell me how the game could play out, and surprise, it did exactly the way she said. Let me tell you, I had a paid consultation with a different very good family law certified lawyer in town … Atousa was better. Firm, likeable, smart, exactly who you want representing you and your child in front of a judge. I want to hire her but it’s not in the budget right this second. However when I am ready, she is #1 on the list.

I was put in touch with Jay for some legal help. He called me and was very patient and listened to ALL my questions and answered all of them as well. He was sensitive to my situation, he helped me understand what is going on. I never felt rushed or that a question I had, wasn't important. All of how Jay helped me was what I needed to help me understand everthing.

Jason might be spreading himself too thin. he didnt know the gender of the lawyer he assigned to me therefore he doesnt personally know the lawyers that work for him. the lawyer he assiggned was rude and didnt spend more than an hour on my case. my case was dropped and that was determined prior to the to the lawyer looking at my case according to the DA report. i paid basically for nothing and to be spoken to in a condiscending manner.

Mr. Gold is a genuine and awesome person. He gave me honest legal advice and for that I am very thankful. I was about to make a mistake that would affect my whole life and he taught me a better way of doing things so that it would not negatively impact my life. I would recommend him to any and everyone.
