I got hit by a car at the end of 2021 and M&Y took on my case at the beginning of 2022. I only spoke to one of the actual lawyers once months down the line. Karina Ramos was great at the beginning and through the process of getting medical treatment. The overall communication from M&Y is inconsistent however. When it came time to negotiate the settlement, they negotiated significantly less than I was hoping for(I literally got hit by a car while I was crossing a crosswalk) and I was not contacted at all during any of the negotiations. This was honestly incredibly infuriating. Marta is a nice woman and was helpful during the process but when I signed my settlement document she changed her extension and I was unable to reach her at all afterwards. Karina also stopped taking my calls. Daniel Stevens, the accountant, ended up helping finish out the process to ensure that my check was delivered to me and he was a massive help and was super understanding. The biggest problem with M&Y is their communication. It's honestly quite terrible but they do their jobs and do it well, and I am definitely grateful that they took on my case. Just wish the communication during the entire process was better.

I want to thank M&Y Team for doing an awesome Job with my case! I wasn’t the most pleasant to work for but they stuck it out and got me the cash I needed n help with my medical issues. My Truck is fixed I’m fixed and they went to fight for me. Thanks again Guys.

I am undivided in giving them five stars or one so I chose three for the fact that I am very disappointed in the outcome of the whole thing. It's now going on 3 weeks or better yet 24 days since I signed the paperwork to settle the case and yet I have not received any payment just yet. According to the defense they have sent the check last Wednesday morning with overnight delivery and yet I am being told that they have not received anything yet. I asked for a tracking number and yet the firm forgot to ask for one. I am in constant contact with my attorney and he is trying his best to get some sort of an answer. I don't know how long you are supposed to wait for you to receive your settlement but I believe that 20+ days is a little too long. So I am asking myself if for whatever reason the check was either not sent and they are blowing smoke up my attorney's butt or the delivery people seen the amount of the check and took it or that it was delivered and it was misplaced and that person doesn't want to be in trouble for loosing it but being a above average lawyer and the amount that is being taken out for the firm's cut of the check you would think that someone would be on this and calling them and not only relying on email after email for a response from the other side. It's that part I am not understanding because the amount of payment that they will receive would have made me want to get them on the phone and answer the reason why they are saying it was sent last week and never received. But that is just me. As far as my attorney I give him five stars plus for carrying and his friendship throughout this ordeal. This is the only complaint I have concerning this firm. Other than that would I hire them again if I should have anything like this in the future? Hell yeah I would. Would I expect a better ending? Damn right I would but again no questions about it. I would hire again.
