I called to get a consultation and Receptionist Vanessa had on us on hold for 58 minutes, never came back to within 58 minutes tell me someone will be with me in a or would call me back. If a firm cannot get the Small things right, then how can they get the Big things right ! Its to bad that Ms. Hakim does not have her front office staff professional. I had car accident with family in the car someone hit us and wanted to work with a woman Lawyer, but never was able to reach Them. I even Email Ms. Hakim and she never got back with us. So, I guess that's a telling sign to move on!

I highly recommend Afshin Hakim. He is a smart, calm and a very skilled settling attorney. My firms will be using him again. As a 59-year old entrepreneur business man I have worked with more attorneys than I can count in many very large and some small cases. Any civil trial today is very expensive so almost all cases settle before trial. The common fight/fight/fight method is foolish. In this case the opposing attorney was your typical out of control, delusional, greedy, nut-job attorney. Afshin Hakim was perfect for getting the opposing counsel to look at the real facts and come to a reasonable middle ground where the plaintiffs ego and anger was satisfied enough. Law suits are not always about money. We saved a great deal of discovery/deposition/pre-trial fight money as Afshin was able to wrap it up for us very quickly. Always make sure the settlement agreement is extremely clear and perfect for you. Read it very carefully and never be rushed to sign it. My advise, do not ever accept docusign or fax signatures and only one agreement should be referenced in the settlement.
