I am truly honored to share my experience with Layla. Layla has been working on a very complicated immigration case involving my father since 2018. His case is not straight forward and involves many complications not easily navigated. One truly needed to be a Sherlock Holmes of attorneys to navigate the current laws and the previous administrations dealings of residency status, immigration, etc,, from the 70s to the present. My father is in his 80s now. He had pretty much given up on the process needed to receive entitlements he worked for. Layla was the last effort after other lawyers had taken his money and abandoned a case that Layla aptly called the Bermuda Triangle of immigration cases. Not only did Layla not abandon my father and us as a family, she had the patience and understanding to work with my father, a proud (at times difficult), elderly, Caribbean man. After a very windy road, Layla got my father out of the Bermuda Triangle of cases. He finally has his green card and can collect social security that he lawfully earned. We are so grateful to her. Layla khamoushian is an excellent attorney, extremely professional, punctual, responsive, very knowledgeable, and really cares about her clients. I petitioned myself for green card based on approved vawa/I360. Although my i360 was approved. It’s still a complicated case. I was intimidated that in the interview the IO will take my case in bias. She put me at ease and get me well prepared with everything. As I thought before. The questions that IO asked were very tricky and unfriendly. But It turned out interview went smoothly because the questions the IO asked was exactly what she has prepared for me.
