I cannot express my appreciation enough for Hart Levin and the associates at his firm. From responsiveness to competence, I could not recommend a more helpful team! I had several charges against me and Hart was able to get all my charges plead down to a misdemeanor. Which is completely shocking - I did not think that was even possible given my history, but they defended me to the fullest extent (and I wholeheartedly believe this evidences they actually care about you as a person, and the outcomes of your case) and I am extremely grateful for that. They take care of everything; They even appeared on my behalf for all court dates and overall made the process hassle-free. I was able to continue with work, etc., with very little interruption of having to deal with the case myself. And again, I am very happy with the outcome. Hart and his team did a phenomenal job representing me in my DUI case. I was involved in an accident and faced possible jail time as well as other potential consequences. I did not serve time in jail, avoided community service and was prosecuted only with a 0.08 (well below my actual level) DUI. I am very thankful to Hart and his team!

Anyone in L.A. knows that we spend 80% of our lives in cars. Long story, short, I had met an old friend and a potential client, after work, and got into my car to drive home. There was predictable 405 traffic, and my lane had slowed down to a halt. The guy behind me, who I could see flying towards me in my rear view, slammed into me, while my attempt to swerve away, failed. As to whose fault it was, wasn't the issue. The issue was I had consumed 3 beers and the police officer at the scene smelled alcohol on my breath. I was scared and had no choice but to take a breathalyzer test. I blew a .08 BAC. They confiscated my license. I was arrested. My car was towed home and I got to spend the night in a cold, crowded jail cell. That was probably the worst night of my life. As each hour passed, and nobody would tell me anything, I knew I had to get a lawyer and get the heck out of this room with one toilet and no sink and never come back. The following day, upon my release, I hired almost the first lawyer I found on line as I felt desperate and needed assurance. I was with them for only one week. The more I researched, I felt I had made the wrong choice. They didn't have a lot of experience dealing with L.A. county DUI's. My gut and my insomnia and my panic attacks told me to change lawyers. I am so grateful I was able to find such a good and trustworthy lawyer like Hart Levin! A little over a year ago I received a DUI while visiting Los Angeles from Texas. I rarely post on yelp but felt the need after I hired this firm. Hart and his team were a godsend to me. I was humiliated when I was arrested and had looked around for help. I had terrible anxiety and panic about it and didn't really know how to find the right help. I had heard of Hart Levin from my family's attorney so I reached out for a consult. Great initial meeting, seemed sincere, upfront, caring, and most of all an expert. He didn't make promises to me. To be safe I got two more opinions with other firms, the H Lawfirm and No cuffs. Both made promises to me about getting my case dismissed and it didn't seem sincere. They were more used car salesman like. I called back for follow up questions and was handed off to an assistant who didn't seem to know when I needed to handle the dmv part of the case. So I called Hart back and gave him the go ahead. It was a really good decision. He kept me posted, was quick to respond (which is important to me) and never fed me any nonsense. The case resolved in my favor which I am so relieved about. On the court date I was notified that I didn't need to appear and got the punishment dropped down to a ticket, which saved me $2000 in fines and kept my record clean. I'm proud to say the criminal case was dismissed and my job is in tact.
