I was asked to post positive reviews. People need to know the truth. Of you them a balance they will prolonged your case and you'll mess up your case. Don't hire them if it's your 1st DUI. Trust me . Saving u Tons of money.

I found The Law Offices of Hart J. Levin on Yelp. I'd gotten into a spot of trouble with a pretty serious traffic violation. I was put in touch with Matthew Cohen who was my attorney for the duration of the entire case. From the very start, Matthew's positive, calm and cheerful demeanor put me at ease during what was otherwise a stressful time. He was always available for me to reach out to and kept me up to date with the court activities involving my case. He pretty much saved me from a whole lot of trouble and I sincerely feel indebted to him. All in all, if you're looking for an attorney who can get the job done, Matthew is your man! Hart Levin came recommended by a friend. Once I explained my situation he gave me a basic break down how the system works and what to expect. Here is the bottom line, excellent communication. His staff appeared on my behalf for every appearance except the final one where I appeared with one of his staff and had to sign and accept the terms offered. After all previous appearances where I did not have to appear I received a prompt email giving an update. Not having to deal with that stress allowed me to focus on my work. Price was fair and I certainly received more than I paid. Questions were answered promptly. I had no idea the court system and the DMV were separate entities and both departments needed to be addressed. I was able to handle DMV once the system was explained to me. Before my appearance I received a call from Hart after business hours. He is dedicated and calm in his approach.

I would highly recommend Hart if you find yourself needing legal representation. I was represented by three other lawyers prior to hiring Hart,  and after a year and a half and thousands of dollars my case was going nowhere. Hart was able to do in just two hearings what the previous three lawyers couldn't do in over twenty hearings.  Hart saved me thousands of dollars and my only regret is that I didn't hire him sooner.  In the end a serious felony charge was ultimately dismissed thanks to Hart and his team.  Hiring Hart was worth every penny and then some.

I am so excited that my case was resolved by Hart and his team. After I was caught by the policeman, a tough time began following with me. My friends also helped me a lot, but the most helps came from Hart. When I was caught, I am so afraid. After one day, I began to find an attorney that can help me solve this most terrible thing that I have ever experienced in my life. At first, I tried to find some lawyers online and I also visited them, but they just try to threaten me so that I can choose them immediately and I did not believe them. After several days, my friend recommended Hart and his team to me, then I also visited him in his office. The thing made me really peaceful is he tried to analyze my case and said that this was not a big problem and gave me so many ideas on how to solve it. Moreover, I was so afraid that I would be kicked out by the school because the other lawyers I visited before told me that this thing is highly possible to happen, but Hart gave me some evidence of the students who were in the same university as me and said that my problem is not terrible and he would try his best to help me. This is the reason that I chose him. In the court date, he told me that I can attend with him together. I was so nervous at that day and think I may get the worst result. However, Hart tried his best to help me and I get the best result. Each time I emailed him, he responded to me in a short time and told me the progress of my case which made me fell so much better. When I received the best news that my case was dismissed, I was so excited and visited him in his office and expressed my felling of gratitude personally. Anyway, I highly recommend him. The reason that I choose attorney Hart Levin are his DA background; his experiences on handling criminal cases; most important, he was confidence to get my case dismissed. I got a ticket of battery from workplace, I was terrified. I started to search for legal help. I am beyond impressed with Hart and his team. I was recommended to Hart by a friend and I could not be any happier. I made my decision based on a couple of factors. Hart is a very calming force. BELIEVE ALL THE REVIEWS ABOUT HART LEVIN! When the nightmare of my DUI happened last summer, I was in utter disbelief and shock and scared to death. After doing some research i found Hart and based off of his reviews decided to call him up. The minute I left my contact number, he responded with a call back within 10 minutes. We spoke briefly and met the very next morning in his office. I told him the story of what happened. I was at a gathering and left to pick up a family member to then go straight home. i was less than a mile away when another car hit me with the result being only a minor fender bender. I pulled over and made contact with the other driver to exchange information. The other driver was a minor who became very erratic and uncooperative so i called the police for assistance. CHP arrived on scene and did not want to handle it because it was not their jurisdiction and no one was injured. So they made me wait for LAPD who never showed up. CHP began asking me for my account of what happened and then asked the other driver for her version of what happened. CHP came back to me and asked me what i wanted to do to which i replied that I wanted a report of the accident because the other driver would not provide any information. After an hour and a half on scene the CHP officer then decides to ask me if I had been drinking that evening and the rest turned into a nightmare. At the station i blew a .09. Hart listened very intently and at the end of my story he put me at ease and said not to worry and that he could help me. I heard and felt the honesty in his voice and I felt that he really was going to do his best to help. I told him that i was putting my life in his hands and he said I know and understand and that it would be alright. Hart was very honest and direct with me. He did not make any promises. Hart was very professional and sincere and said that he would work hard for the best outcome for my case. He then started to explain to me in detail what would happen from this point on with regards to the court and DMV hearings. I explained to Hart that I have a job that requires LiveScan. Hart said for me to report it right away and go to my employer first. This was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life but I followed his advice. My employer said thank you for reporting it to us first before we would of found out through LiveScan. Very thankful that my job is fine. Hart went to work right away on my case and throughout the legal process Hart and his awesome assistant Jill were so very responsive and helpful and kept me informed every step of the way. When I called him or emailed him with concerns he and or Jill would respond right away or within the same day. After the last court hearing, Hart called me and informed me that my DUI was reduced to a wet and reckless and that I would only have to pay the minimum fines and also that i would not have to install a vehicle interlock system. I was overcome with appreciation and so thankful that i had hired him. Hart helped me get through this horrible experience and truly saved me from this nightmare so again believe all the great reviews about how he has helped all of us on here. In 2015, when my wife was arrested for a DUI, it was completely devastating for the entire family. None of us had ever experienced anything like this and didn't know what to expect. I knew it would be best to hire an attorney and after researching reviews on Yelp, interviewing a number of attorneys and looking at other sites, we decided on Hart because of the glowing reviews and high respect that is attached to his name in the Los Angeles court system by clients and peers. First, Hart and his staff could not have been more warm and reassuring in this frightening time. Even though it was a first-time DUI, my wife's BAC had been high and the prosecutor was looking to give her 90 days in the county jail. As someone who had never been in any kind of trouble before this in her life, you can imagine that a sentence like that would have been crushing. Hart assured us that he could get the sentence vastly reduced and encouraged us to call him at any time if we had any fears or questions.He was also very generous with his fee and payment plan, making it possible for us to finance the fees over several months. Throughout the entire process, Hart and his wonderful assistant Jill answered all our questions and kept us up to date about the progress of the case so that we never had to wonder. We did still worry, but it was greatly reduced by their kindness and attention to detail. Any time I or my wife had a question, Hart or Jill got back to us in a very short amount of time, which is very impressive considering how many clients they must have at any given time. Hart appeared in court for us through all of the initial proceedings, limiting the stress that such appearances cause, and in the end the sentence was reduced to the lowest possible fine, and my wife spent less than a day in jail. Compare that to the 90 that would have happened if Hart hadn't fought so hard! After the sentencing, Hart and his staff were still there for us, making sure we understood all the steps that had to be completed--there were some classes and community service requirements--and filed those certificates of completion with the court for us. Everything was made so much easier knowing they were there to guide us through all of the red tape! Everything is completed now, and while it's been an extremely emotional and difficult year, Hart and his staff made the entire process SO much easier to handle and provided a great deal of comfort as well as excellent legal work. I can't recommend Hart Levin highly enough. Be smart and hire the best!

Hart and his team (Matt and Jill) did an excellent job of helping me through an extremely difficult time period. I was involved in a DUI refusal matter and Hart was able to negotiate a plea to an exhibition of speed. I was at the wrong place wrong time at an intersection where the CHP’s were parked with their lights on, and seeking any car they can yell to pull over. Short of the long, I was pulled over simply due to having no front plates; no moving violation whatsoever. I’ll spare the details of what transpired for the next hour. I 100% respect the officers and the job that they do, however, I’m 100% sure that I passed the field sobriety. In hindsight and now that I’m sitting here without any intimidation and stress, I would’ve definitely performed the breathalyzer and chemical test and absolutely confident I would’ve been below the legal limit. Overwhelming stress, fear from the officer, and anxiety can hinder you in doing or saying the smart thing. I froze like a dear in the headlights. My experience with the officers was frightening, and perhaps it’s supposed to be this way. Bottom line: I don’t have a DUI on my record. Hart and his highly skilled team, and the many prayers prevailed. I absolutely recommend The Law Offices of Hart J. Levin to anyone facing a DUI matter.
