I met Miles almost 4 years ago while seeking a divorce from a 20+ year marriage. The divorce process was particularly difficult and messy. At one point there was a discussion my divorce might make new case law if we ended up in trial. Miles stuck with me through every step of the way explaining the process. He worked tirelessly into the evenings and weekends to ensure he kept on top of my case. He knew my case inside and out. When opposing counsel presented inaccurate information and lies, he responded with facts in a succinct professional manner. He dug into the details to find issues opposing counsel conveniently missed. He made himself available and returned emails promptly. His professionalism never wavered regardless of the opposition’s negative comments. His writing skills are masterful. He’s dedicated to his clients and tells it like it is. Miles is an extremely talented and effective attorney, and I highly recommend hiring Miles if you are in the unfortunate position of needing a family law attorney. Throughout the process, Miles consistently drafted pleadings and/or proposals that aligned with the judge's ultimate decisions and/or recommendations. Miles' written communications to opposing counsel were concise and assertive, and he demonstrated an ability to work with opposing counsel in a way which ultimately benefitted me. During conversations, he was patient and explained difficult concepts in easy to understand terms. Most importantly, Miles didn't miss a single issue when reviewing completely unreasonable and underhanded proposals presented by the other side.
