Mr. Crumpton was very professional and informative when we met to discuss Estate Planning. We went over how my assets would be handled after I have passed or if I become incapacitated and my health care directive thoroughly. He answered all my questions clearly and clarified anything I had a little trouble understanding. He addressed various hypothetical scenarios I provided to him in detail. I hired David to assist us in creating a will & trust and I am thoroughly impressed! David is a wealth of knowledge about estate planning, wills, and trusts! In addition to that, he broke down legal jargon into very understandable terms and took the time to make sure that we clearly understood everything. Some of my family members do not speak English well, so we appreciated David's patience and willingness to review concepts with us multiple times. Also, David walked us through the new additions of what trusts today contain, in comparison to a trust that was created 15 years ago. He encouraged us to ask questions at any time, which made us feel more comfortable in this planning process. One of the things that stood out to me the most, is that due to schedule conflicts, we were not able to meet at his office, so David drove out to our house--meeting us where we are at in more ways than one! He changed my view on what I thought attorneys were like, because he is very personable and approachable! As you might imagine, discussing the topic of wills and trusts with your family is difficult already, but David made this experience for our family easier to understand and digest--which is exactly what we wanted in someone to help us tackle this emotionally difficult process.
