I came to Ms. Posey with a family law case attempting to get custody of my 6 year old daughter. I walked in the door very nervous and knowing absolutely nothing about family law and the legal ground I had to make my case. I walked out of that first consultation with nothing but confidence. Ms. Posey is incredibly sharp and removed all the fluff from the conversation allowing me to get the most amount of information possible in the limited amount of time I had. I ended up using her services through my entire court case from beginning to finish and have managed to get everything I wanted from the court. The paralegals that asisted in the case we're also extremely professional understanding and intellegent. The service may not be the cheapest up front, but her office does everything in their power to give discounts breaks and help in being flexible with payments, this was incredibly appreciated!

I retained Jennifer after my former attorney had failed over an almost two-year period to reach resolution over the division of my federal pension benefits. She immediately took charge of the case and set the stage for a very favorable outcome. This case was complex, as it involved meeting certain requirements set by the federal Office of Personnel Management. Jennifer used her expertise and experience to reach an equitable settlement with opposing counsel. "If you can't beat em, join em!" That's the best way to describe how I came to know Jennifer Posey and Associates. Many years ago, I was working with a friend, who was going through a very contentious divorce, and asked him how it was going. He said everything was going great until my Ex hired a new Attorney. He said the new attorney came into court and turned his ex's ship around and made his attorney look foolish in court. I asked him what her attorney's name was and he said Jennifer Posey. The rest is history, I have been using Jen for my family court issues ever since. I have also referred several friends who have been ever so grateful for the referral.

I can't recommend Jennifer enough. She was amazing, level headed and extremely knowledgeable. Ms. Posey has an unbelievable presence about her and was my strength in an emotionally charged situation when I felt depleted and unable to fight for myself. She handles herself with grace and dignity and sticks to the legal facts. She literally was able to get me every single thing I was hoping for and I am walking away from one of the worst times of my life, completely satisfied and eternally grateful to both Ms. Posey and her wonderful staff. My divorce in 2003 left me with having to pay lifetime alimony. When the economy crashed in 2008, my income crashed, as well, and I was not able to keep up with my payments. Consulting another atty, I was basically told that there was nothing I could do until I was able to get current with my payments. In 2014, a friend who had used Jennifer, with much success, told me to give her a call. Upon meeting her, I was at once impressed by her knowledge, her honesty, her aggressiveness, and her great personality. I was SO glad to have her on my side. She has been in the arena for many, many years and it was very evident when the court date arrived. She was miles above the atty on the other side. In fact, we never went in front of the judge. Jennifer was able to negotiate everything without ever stepping inside the court room. In the end, my alimony was terminated. I had to pay some arrears and a lump sum step-down payment, but much less than the other side was pushing for. I am very please to have been represented by Jennifer. I would refer her to anyone seeking representation by a true professional.

I have been burned by a few attorneys since my divorce in 2008 that took my money and didnt give me any results. Hired Jennifer and she was able to get my case settled without going to court in less than 2 months. She is a bulldog and will make things happen instead of just the regular lip service most family law attorneys give. I highly recommend her in any situation. The legal process was overwhelming to me. I had a different family attorney before her, so I can say that it makes a huge difference if you have bad or good representation. After initially meeting with Jennifer, I felt like I was in good hands. She is very knowledgeable and explained to me my rights and best practices for my actions to get results. I cannot say enough things about she helped me through this process. She is direct and set reasonable expectations for me. Most of all, she was quick in directing opposing counsel to make a decision and not drag on with unnecessary proceedings. In the time at the court house, it was obvious she is very highly respected among her legal peers and presiding Judges. I always had confidence that my best interests were front and center in every negotiation. I will be a client of hers for life!!! (Or at least if I ever have to go through this process again.)

Jennifer is a very well educated, personable, and professional attorney. My fiance and I needed her services regarding custody of our son and she made the entire process painless. Not only does she make you feel very comfortable by not speaking in terms that aren't uderstandable, but she walks you through the entire process so you feel prepared and stress free. She helped us understand the law regarding the situation we were in and educated us on how to handle our situation in the future. While most issues requiring an attorney tend to be anxiety filled and uncomfortable Jennifer made us feel confident at all times. We got what we wanted out of our case and Jennifer stood by our side and fought for us to make sure we were happy.
