Mike helped me through a difficult time and was able to negotiate a good settlement.

When I met him he was a very nice man. I had had a stroke and couldn't understand TV or emails. At that time Mr. Kalanta was just starting his private practice. He had an opportunity to stop the litigation but didn't take it, partly because he needed clients, partly just inexperienced. He is likely a good attorney by this time, but in my case I was debt free, mortgage and student loans paid in full at the time of my marriage. However, by the end of my divorce I had lost everything including my house, entire pension, and owed money....He is in the greatest part responsible as I was essentially retarded due to the stroke and totally dependent on him. By not blocking the opposing attorney, who won every round in court, ( and who, BTW, appeared to be friends with the judge so it was a difficult task), he allowed the court system to abuse me for 5 years....I had PTSD for 6 years.

Mr Kalanta has been representing me since 2019, I have had multiple problems with him over the years. He is not an attorney that will know your case, care about you as a client, or push for your facts. Mr Kalanta is an attorney that looks for settlements. He even threatened that if I didn't sign the settlement that the defendant suggested that he would no longer represent me. Please be advised, seek another council immediately.

very deceptive and unprofessional, purposefully left name off of papers to be served in order to kidnap, and extort children for child support, this law firm enjoys killing families as long as they get paid.

I found Michael kalanta on Google didn't kno anything or even where to start with family court I was trying to be able to see my children. I was seeking visitation I called Michael for his free consultation a year ago he took me on as a client a few months after and believe me when I tell you TRUST HIM! at times he will be busy, might not even return your call right away but rest assured this man and his team are working there magic ! If u need his help than make the call he is worth every penny ! As for me I walked out of my case with physical custody of both my children.
