My mom set up a trust 20 years ago when she was a single mom with 3 kids and absolutely no time. When I sat down with her recently to review her estate plan, she was shocked to find the trust was not set up at all the way she thought she'd instructed the lawyers to do it. She wasn't even sure what law firm had originally set it up because there hadn't been any follow up from them in all that time. She also had only partially funded it and most of her assets were not in the trust's name. I was very happy to find Meier Law to help her restate the trust and get her full estate plan in order. They walked us through every step and helped her feel confident in the plan and how things would be set up to achieve her goals. They also provided detailed instructions on funding the trust and have a plan to check in every few years to see if any updates are needed. Meier Law is probably not the cheapest option out there, but an estate plan is worthless if it isn't actually set up and funded correctly. So personally I think their prices are a bargain for the level of support we're receiving and the peace of mind to have this all in capable hands.

Truly a pleasure to work with on what may feel like a daunting and overwhelming task. Attention to detail was wonderful and they made the process seamless and organized. We were kept well informed on all of the steps to complete the process and there were never any surprises.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to meet the firm's owners at an informational meeting. We decided to trust our legal trust matters with this firm.
