I paid and hired her during my divorce in 2019, unfortunately Covid hit and my ex still hadn't paid her. Come end of 2021 things start moving since he submitted his payment. Only for her to do it wrong and pull out 3x what he was supposed to receive. A rather LARGE error and blamed me for it being incorrect. Had a new QDRO completed to "fix it" that took even more money out. AND STILL NO MONEY RETURNED from the incorrect withdrawal. It's been almost 8 months since the first error and almost a year of issues in total. DON'T HIRE HER!

My ex wife and I are 2.5 years into settling the two QUADROs that we’re ordered in our divorce. On the recommendation of my attorney, we paid Nancy Bunn to file the documents for the pension and 401k plans. She initially took a little over a year to “complete” the filings. Then we discovered that she had only filed documents for the 401k. “Oh... there’s a pension too?” Another few months pass and Nancy tells us that it’s all complete. My ex recently changed jobs so as part of her separation from her employer she was asked what she wanted them to do with the pension money. It turns out that Nancy has never filed the correct documents and the company was not aware of the QUADRO on the pension. People make mistakes, but this woman is very old and her behavior resembles someone having memory issues. She doesn’t return calls and when you do reach her she babbles in circles and you have to tell her multiple time who you are. I’ve been told that she was a great attorney back in the day, but that day has passed. Don’t take the risk working with Nancy.

Ms. Bunn came highly recommended, and she did not disappoint. Nancy is very knowledgeable about the QUADRO law and process. I highly recommend her.

Nancy came recommended and I agreed for her to be the ODRO attorney. That was a costly mistake as I had to consult other ODRO attorneys as Nancy was not aware of several ODRO cases (case law) that were beneficial to my case as my ex was trying to screw me over.

My former husband and I did not have attorneys when we had our trial in Orange County. The judge told us to contact Attorney Nancy Bunn to prepare QDROs. We are glad she did because she did a very good job of what appeared to us to be a complicated process. She was available to answer our questions, and her fees were reasonable. Now we know why the judge chose her.

Asked her over the phone with detail of my situation. she encouraged me to file paperwork for a QRDO immediately she said. Paid her 2K and sent her my divorce papers which stated the same things that I told her. while she never called me back after filing the paperwork, so after 3 weeks I called her and asked her how things were going. She feigned surprise and said she was so shocked that the divorce papers had stated no division of pensions and that her filing was now null and void. I ask her why she did not know that from the start when she read the paperwork. Turns out she never read the divorce papers, just took the money I gave her and filed paperwork that was non-applicable. I asked her to reimburse me because I am not the legal expert and it was not my decision to file those papers, it was hers, and she said I should have known, because she sent the legal documents to me before she filed! Unbelievable!

Received my 3000.00 and never heard back for months. Finally after 6 months of calling and e-mailing. She started my case. I kept on calling for updates and no response. She stated she spent a lot of time on the process but I thought this is what I paid for. The only thing wrong I did was not really looking into her reviews. But shame on her!!!

I hired Nancy to process a QDRO. Paid her the retainer fee and never heard back from her. I tried for over a month to get in touch with her. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the California Bar. Do not use this attorney!

She took my money and than didn't return phone calls. A declaration was made and the dates were wrong and facts were wrong and she wanted me to sign it and I refused. When I tried to call her to talk about the mistakes she had her secretary take messages and she didn't call me back. I finally went to her office and barged in. I would not recommend her to anyone. When we went to court she forgot important information, I lost my case.

Was referred to her by my divorce attorney. She didn't do anything in a timely fashion. She even missed spelled my last name. I started my qdro with her in September, in December she was finally trying to reach my Ex to get her information. From the end of December till the end of April and it's still not complete. I had to push to get my Ex's attorney to sign the papers. I had to follow up with the plans administrator to see what happened. The delay was they never got the sign court order. My attorney Nancy Bunn didn't follow up on anything.

Nancy Bunn represented me in a child custody battle. My three-year-old daughter reported that her dad was playing sexual games with her and hurt her. There were corroborative medical findings. Ms. Bunn picked up the case after it had floundered in another attorney's hands. She was gritty, gutsy and determined. She did something really bold when we were assigned to a judge whom she felt wouldn't hear the case objectively. She papered him. This attorney made a difference in my life and my child's life. She advocated for us.

Ms. Bunn is gutsy, brainy, practical, caring, and resourceful. She is everything you want from an attorney. I recommend her highly.
