Ali helped us to review, specify, draft, and file a Provisional Patent Application and a Design patent, and started us down the road toward a full utility filing. The entire process couldn't have been smoother. He began with a thorough review of our inventions and quickly identified the patentable portions. He's super sharp and quick on the uptake. Ali recommended how additional design patents and/or copyrights and trademarks might help, and just as importantly, how they might not help. He was able to give us a really rounded view of how the filing and protection process plays out and did an excellent job at clarifying tricky legal topics. I think the fact that Ali had worked extensively as an actual product engineer in the past really lets him excel in talking to engineers. Anyhow, as an engineer, I greatly appreciate having a lawyer who can talk through the engineering processes with me and provide thoughtful, critical analysis of my products while identifying applicable strengths and weaknesses. I'm normally a bit hesitant to make blanket recommendations, but this process was exceptionally smooth and I think Ali is well deserving of praise. Awesome.
