First off I want to say that I feel very blessed that I was recommended to Amy, I have a Special Needs Trust that my parents left me when they died .In the Estate & Will they named my sister Susan as the Trustee of my SNT, to make a long story short my sister was not impartial with me and we both had conflicts of interest. A really good friend of mine listened to my problems and immediately referred me to Amy and my life has dramatically been stress free ever since. I agree that the probate court doesn't move fast but Amy was always consistent in replying to my emails in a timely manner. She has been Unbelievably Transparent with her billing even though this is a SNT and I am a Sole Beneficiary. I really admire the level of respect and honesty she gives me. If anyone is going through a similar situation I highly recommend Amy. The cost of her services are invaluable.

My wife and I had used the Law Firm previously when creating Wills, Power of Attorney, Advanced Directives, etc. We again hired the firm to create our Family Trust as well as to update all of our previous documents. The legal support was superb and the hard-copy documentation provided was excellent, presented very well, along with electronic files.

Amy was great to work with and had far superior knowledge than the other 5 attorneys that I interviewed. Her knack to think “outside the box” and intuitive intellect produced excellent results.

I became a Successor Trustee for our estate in 2011, and for the first time my wife and I met Amy Gostanian. I had no idea this journey to fulfill my parent's wishes would be so complicated, but Amy was there for me every step of the way. Her sage advice was invaluable and helped me on may occasions. She was always just a phone call away and as I lived out-of-state, I took advantage of this many times. The Law Firm managed and advised but they were always careful to let me make the decisions. When my sister became gravely ill, I had to start selling some of our property only to find out that my parents had not placed either property back in the trust long ago. This error did not occur on Amy's watch... Nothing to be done but correct that error and move forward as quickly as possible. We had to rush through probate in order to proceed with the sale and Amy and Michelle handled this expertly to say the least. This was around the time I first met Michelle Bartolic (Amy's new associate). Talk about sharp, I could tell Michelle was on top of her game. Moving forward, these two attorneys helped me through the worst time of my life and explained trust and probate law in terms even I could understand. Now that both parents and my sister are resting and finally at peace, I have just dispersed the last of the estate to the last beneficiary. With Michelle's blessing, last week I finally closed the trust. I strongly recommend Gostanian Law for all matters related to trusts, probate and litigation should it be needed. I thank my lucky stars that they were there for me these past 8 years. You can imagine the weight that is now off my shoulders. Thank you!

Amy was able to take over handling my parents estate from another attorney and I am very grateful for all of her and her staff's support and help. Amy is very kind and caring and helped me through some tough spots in the process. Billing was very fair and accurate. Communication was timely and greatly appreciated. I'll be returning to have my own trust done. Thank you Amy!

Amy is our trusted ally when it comes to protecting our family. She has taken care of our estate and set up guardianship for my daughter's inheritance. It is comforting to know we have someone like Amy to depend on.

Amy Gostanian was referred to me by a court appointed attorney. After speaking with her, I realized this was the perfect person for me. Ms. Gostanian is a true professional in every aspect. She is concise and expects perfection from everyone in her law firm because she is extremely well prepared. I have watched her "in action" twice in front of a judge and it is clearly evident how much respect the courts have for her. I would recommend Ms. Gostanian to any person who needs legal help concerning litigation, estate planning, or probate.

If you ever need an attorney to help you with Estate Planning, or to defend you in some sort of litigation, then finding a good attorney will be one of the most important things you will ever have to do. A good attorney will not only be superbly in command of the legal issues and laws pertaining to your matter, but will also be ethical and honest. Your attorney might also have to do some important detective work; for example, in tracking down important witnesses. A good attorney will not be the least bit timid in defending you during deposition or in court, and will certainly never get confused about whose side they’re on. I know from personal experience with these matters in my case that Amy Gostanian and her team at Gostanian Law Group are, by far, the very best. My case was a lawsuit brought against me over the way a friend of mine created her Will. In other words, her Will was being contested. I took the documents I was served to Amy Gostanian. She introduced me to a paralegal who would also be working on the case. After she reviewed the documents and asked some questions, Amy introduced me to Michelle Bartolic, another attorney, who would be working with us as a team. Amy was very familiar with the attorney who drafted my friend’s Will, as well as the attorney who was bringing the case against me. She also knew the judges at the courthouse where the case was filed. As the meeting progressed, I began to feel very confident and optimistic. Amy explained in great detail the length of time this case might take if it were to go to trial, the likely financial costs, as well as the way she paced the billing amounts, so as to make it easier for her clients to keep up. She also advised me on how to communicate with them during the process, so as to keep costs down further. (There were other surprising ways the costs were kept down as well.) Amy, Michelle, and everyone on my team took care of everything. I felt like I had hired an army. I received an email from Amy a short time after our first meeting, saying that I needn’t worry, that all the good facts were on my side. Several depositions were scheduled, and Amy and Michelle gave me a lengthy preparation for my own deposition. But I never had to go through with any deposition. All the depositions were cancelled by the other side after the depositions of the attorney who drafted my friend’s Will, the witnesses to the signing, and the notary public. Michelle Bartolic tracked down a very credible witness the night before a scheduled Mandatory Settlement Conference. And during the Conference, a newly hired paralegal sent word that she had tracked down another important witness and scheduled a phone call for Amy and Michelle. After a few back and forth negotiations for a Settlement, we walked out of the Conference with the intention to go to trial. Later that day, the Conference was continued at Amy’s office at the request of the other side. (During that time, the call to the other witness took place as well.) That’s where their case quickly continued to crumble apart. I was not present, but Amy called to let me know what was going on, and we discussed what would be a satisfactory outcome for me, if we did not go to trial. Amy and Michelle presented to them in detail the reasons why they would lose their case. And that’s when the case came to an end, and the outcome was very satisfactory. Throughout the duration of this case, Amy and Michelle always replied right away to my communications, and kept me very much informed of what was going on. I know they worked beyond "normal" business hours. One time I received an email from Amy around 7:30 AM, and I know Michelle tracked down a witness after 7:00 PM. And, they were always very encouraging and optimistic. I then needed to create a Living Trust and Will. Amy, Michelle and Diane Davis did a beautiful job for me. It was a wonderful experience. My Estate Planning Portfolio is awesome!

Amy is very professional. She was referred to us by my Mother's attorney. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was very committed. We had no idea what we needed to do or how the legal system works and Amy and her firm were fantastic. They not only educated us but always made sure that we were informed and up to date on how our case was progressing. We live in Maryland and needed to have a conservator put in place for my Mother with dementia who live in California. Other family members were taking advantage of her and we needed to stop that. Amy suggested a professional fiduciary and took care of everything. We are completely satisfied with the legal representation we received.

I have only positive things to say about Amy and her team. She previously did some legal and estate work for my mother and my brother and they were pleased with her. Last year, I was in desperate need for legal assistance as I needed to go through a probate process for two estates. She met with my husband and I and guided us through the probate process thoroughly and expertly. I have recommended her to another friend and would not hesitate to use her firm in the future. All in all, it was a positive experience with an excellent team.
