It was hard to find an affordable, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable attorney to represent my immigration case. I spoke to many attorneys and was not satisfied. However, after talking to attorney Anthony Marcus, I immediately observed his friendly personality and the way he understands my situation. I hired him to petition for my spouse’s green card. He came to our house to explain the process and exhibited a confident knowledge of the Immigration law. The case was filed in December of 2018. At the end of May 2019, we got a request for clarification for my spouse’s birth certificate. Mr. Marcus explained why they needed that and asked for new original documents. Within three months, my spouse’s work authorization was approved, and we received a letter scheduling the green card interview. I have been in the country for 30 years without any legal documents except the DACA status. I got married and my attorney, Anthony Marcus petitioned for me through my spouse. The application got approved, then, Mr. Marcus applied for my adjustment of status. After 7 months, we received a letter stating that the adjustment of status and all other applications associated with it are suspended. That means I cannot obtain my travel documents to legally reenter the United States to complete the adjustment of status requirements. I was in distress over this, however, Mr. Marcus applied for an emergency advance parole to leave and reenter the United States. People v. Moncada After a night of drinking with my familia, I realized that I have to go to work, I called Uber, but they did not come. I was afraid to miss work, and I decided to drive myself to go to work. It was the wrong decision I enter the freeway and crossed all the lanes and hit a new 2017 Honda. The hit caused the Honda to spun and hit the freeway wall to be total. My car also bounced out of control to the other direction of the freeway and hit the other wall and was totally inoperable. I was arrested and charged with a felony DUI, my bail was $100,000. Hiring Mr. Marcus was the only good news after this horrific experience. Mr. Marcus got me out of jail on OR without one penny out of my pocket; he then miraculously reduced my felony to a misdemeanor. The more amazing thing, Mr. Marcus struck a deal with the DA and I did not get jail time beyond the 4 days I spent in jail before he OR me. I only paid fine, participated in DUI program, and did community services. Mr. Marcus did not stop to defend me; he also went with me to my restitution hearing and dismissed the demand of the damages with zero dollars out of my pocket. I am speechless and out of words to thank him for his professionalism and zeal for his clients. He is not only an outstanding lawyer; he also treats people with respect and recognizes their dignity. OMG Thank You!!! I'm honestly am left a bit speechless at how thankful I am for Anthony Marcus. Just now, I was literally left in shambles by a group posing as lawyers who left me high and dry. People v. Hernandez During a B.B.Q. with family, my girlfriend engaged in a fight with the neighbor. The fight quickly escalated and three girls were in the top of my girlfriend.
