I never anticipated writing a negative review about ZiPi Law, especially since my initial experience with them was fine—until it wasn’t. Last August, I was involved in a minor hit-and-run incident. I took all the necessary steps: filing a police report and consulting various law firms to evaluate my case, as this was my first accident. Eventually, one of those firms recommended ZiPi Law. I looked them up on Google before calling, and their positive reviews gave me a sense of relief and hope. Unfortunately, my experience turned out to be deeply frustrating and unprofessional. At first, I appreciated Maria’s efforts, and everyone I spoke with on the phone seemed polite and positive. However, my opinion quickly changed. Despite explicitly instructing them to walk me through every step of the process before taking any action, they filed the claim without my consent or even informing me. This lack of transparency set the tone for our entire interaction. I had to constantly follow up for updates, repeatedly calling, even though it was their responsibility to keep me informed as their client. What frustrated me most was their mishandling of the case and evidence I provided. I submitted everything they needed—videos, pictures, the police report—essentially all the crucial evidence to support my case. I even complied with their additional requests and had a minor injury too and went to had appointments and sessions to get better. They assured me everything was in order and promised a positive outcome, but their mishandling caused the claim to fall apart. The other party initially denied being at the scene, then retracted that statement months later, but their insurance still refused responsibility. To make matters worse, Maria later claimed that the video evidence I submitted made it appear as though I was at fault. If that’s so, maybe they shouldn’t take my case at the first case, - I really would be fine with it instead of giving me hope and later on leaving me hanging. After that they decided to terminate my contract and suggested I find another law firm, I was shocked and deeply disappointed, especially after their initial confidence and reassurances. I trusted them with my case, believing in their expertise, only to be left feeling misled, neglected, and profoundly dissatisfied. They never apologized for their mistakes. Instead, they told and blamed in a way, claiming the video evidence I provided was at fault. And there’s nothing they could do about it. To add to my frustration, Maria called me to discuss this during a period when I was working late shifts, making it difficult for me to process or respond adequately. This all happened shortly after I also lost my grandmother in October, leaving me emotionally overwhelmed. On top of that, my insurance record was negatively impacted due to their mishandling of my case. I trusted ZiPi Law, believing they knew the law and insurance policies far better than I did, but instead, I am now left to face these consequences alone.
