Paul is a wonderful attorney. He, and his amazing staff, handled my divorce with great attention and care. Having never gone through a divorce before, I had MANY questions, concerns and fears. Paul, and his staff, were very patient and thoroughly explained everything to me. They walked me though each step of the divorce process and made sure I was well-informed and prepared. I can't say enough wonderful things about them all. Their integrity, professionalism and genuine care for their clients is superb! They're truly an asset to their profession!!!

Paul helped me negotiate a deal with my ex wife that allowed us to be more cordial to each other than we have in the passed, because of his involvement it put me in a position to where my child was able to get what they wanted in order for them to be happy. Paul always worked with me on what I wanted while at the same time what was the most cost effective.

After paying way too much money to another attorney for post-divorce nonsense I finally found Paul. Upon interview, I decided that he was the right choice and hired him. During our work together, I found him to be personable, compassionate and confident - all attributes I needed after working with someone who was knowledgeable, but not personable; professional, but not compassionate. Paul is skilled at what he does so he made me feel well represented and he is honest so I never doubted his allegiance. He is serious when he needs to be serious and uses humor when it's appropriate to do so. He helped finalize the nonsense that the previous attorney left undone and made sure that I felt confident with the final agreement. We were so pleased with how he handled things that a few months later, when another matter came about we hired him again. And again, he was on top of it. He helped our family to feel safe in an unnerving situation and then took care of things for us so that we didn't have to worry. While I'm relieved to have family court behind us, if we (or someone I know) ever need a family law attorney, Paul would be my first call.

In 2008 I filed for divorce after 20 years of marriage. I only wished I had been referred to Paul Nelson back then, instead of any one of the four attorneys I left over the next 3 years. Not one of them cared about my case, or responed to any information I gave them. Within three days of my Judgment, my Ex stopped paying me. I turned to a friend who I met just before my divorce was final, and asked her to please give me the name of her lawyer. She had been quite happy with him and she got a good result. You need a lawyer who will be there for you for the long haul, not pass you off to a "lawyer in learning". Hire someone who will care about You, be compassionate, understanding, and intelligent. Paul is extremely caring and wants the best for me and my children, After working in OC for years Paul knows the procedures the court's staff and most all the Judges and attorney's.. This is especially helpful when preparing for his appearances. He is especially knowledgeable with Family Law and does an excellent job making sure my rights are protected. I have not observed any other attorney stand up the same way Paul does.
