I hired Alan after my disability company wrongfully terminated my benefits, assuming I would just crawl away with my tail between my legs. Alan was able to get them to reinstate me and nailed them for a lump sum for bad faith practices. If your disability company pulls sneaky crap on you… hire Alan and Kantor & Kantor. Alan was absolutely incredible to watch work. He has a great ability to empathize with his clients, and this understanding gives Alan the aptitude to convey the strong emotions of a tough case with mediators and judges. When we met, he was calm and cool under any discussion, and could see all sides of a case or possibility when I had already come to conclusions of how things would go, either for better or worse. He could assure me that my worst fears had not considered optimal routes, and that my greatest hopes had not considered possible snags. During our first consultation Alan extended a courtesy and understanding that one only hopes to experience with family and good friends. He patiently listened to the litany of disabling medical conditions that restricted and limited my ability to perform the duties of my profession. The most nebulous of these was persistent and debilitating fatigue, which the mainstream has no reliable means of quantifying. Rather than dismiss my plight as my LTD carrier had, Alan made arrangements for objective fatigue testing, personally shouldering 60% of the cost.
