Kristen created a living trust for me. I found her very professional and extremely knowledgeable at the task. I do find these situations stressful so what I most appreciated is her kind and thoughtful manner in answering all my questions. And in language I could understand. I am recommending her to all my friends.

As I reached age 65, I needed a plan to reduce my debts prior to retiring. I quickly achieved confidence in Kristen's ability to handle my situation based on her training, experience and detailed knowledge of the bankruptcy filing process. She recommended a strategy based on my unique circumstances, and the filing and discharge was accomplished as she had planned. Kristen offered flexible meeting locations and times, and most of the details were handled without office visits. Kristen was always courteous, informative and supportive in our meetings, and filed the original petition and amended filing in a professional and timely manner. I strongly recommend Kristen for anyone considering bankruptcy and debt reduction.

Kristen helped me see my options. She was honest about the benefits of a Chapter 7 vs. Chapter 13 bankruptcy. She also explained clearly why my current situation wouldn't allow me to fit into a Chapter 7. She kept me informed and took good care of me along the way.

My experience with Kristen was very different than expected. She was up front about issues that she spotted and honest about things that might cause trouble for me during my bankruptcy filing. She kept me informed about the process and explained things concisely. She turned something I was dreading into a manageable experience.

I never thought I would need a bankruptcy attorney but when the reession hit, my business just dried up. In an effort to wait out the economy, I sunk many of my personal resources into the business. When I couldn't deny reality any longer, I went and saw Kristen. She helped me sort through the tangle of finances - both business and personal. Though I know she was busy, she made me feel like her only client. Never, during the whole process, was I left with questions or wondering where we were in my case. I'm glad I chose Kristen and I wish I went to her earlier.

Kristen Bargmeyer helped me when I needed it most. Though I recently moved to the Bay Area from out of state for a good new job, I had house in the prior state I was trying to sell from afar, had revently ended a long term relationship, and was desperately in debt. In fact, my wages were being garnished to a point where I could barely pay my day to day expenses not to mention my credit card payments and mortgage.
My Chapter 13 with Kristen was a breeze. The wage garnishment ended, my payment to the trustee is affordable, and she helped me decide what to do with my house. She explained and helped me navigate the intersection between my bankruptcy and my ex. She did all this with sensitivity and forthrightness. Though she occasionally told me things I didn't want to hear, I always felt she was honest, ethical, and had my best interest at heart. If you need a Chapter 13, you should see her.

Kristen did a great job. Every step went exactly as she said it would and she was easy to reach with questions. She looked at my whole financial picture and discussed non-bankruptcy options, as well. I would recommend her to anyone considering bankruptcy.
