I’m an attorney in Colorado and my client had originally hired another firm and they were terrible, then we were referred to Marissa Oxman at Core by another attorney. When my client called, Simon helped and indicated he would be better to help since he’s been doing these type of cases for 8 years. Unlike Sullivan’s firm, Simon actually researched the law and overall has a great personality. Simon is clearly intelligent and knowledgeable. After one conversation, I knew he’d help my client. His firm really is a family and they work together as a team. Everyone. Simon had another court date so he assigned Marissa Oxman (a true star) and I highly recommend her to anyone! I’m big on legal writing and the law and Marissa wrote a 20-page declaration that just killed the game! I had been so worried about my client and the quality of representation she was receiving in California. Sullivan & Associates was a real let-down. Simon was much, much better but I was still concerned because he couldn’t be at the hearing. But, once Marissa came on the case and I read Marissa’s declaration citing all the laws on the books of California and saw the time she actually put into fighting for my client, I was finally relieved! Marissa is a quality attorney!!! She understands the importance of making arguments based in the law. She was the only one to actually file the right forms and take the time to read the probate code and guardianship book. She’s amazing!!!!!!!! I highly, highly recommend Marissa Oxman!! Also, I think it’s important to note that Marissa has a criminal law background and, in my experience, criminal lawyers are just better at family law. Overall, Marissa Oxman is a true fighter. I couldn’t imagine anyone doing a better job in California. And, of course, she won the hearing! Thank you!
