The person answering the phone trying to screen calls, didn’t understand the question should’ve had me speak to attorney because what she told me it was different than what the California state bar. Really sad too bad a real attorney couldn’t talk to me to answer the question. I’m told it’s an easy process what I needed done

This establishment sold me on their concept of doing what is best for the kids....wrong. Also, they completely served the respondent instead of the filing parent (their client). After it was all said and done nothing has been received from the "father" from this case. The mother got nothing for 4 kids, an abusive ex husband. NOTHING! HOW THE HELL CAN ANYONE BE HAPPY WITH THIS FIRM? They are slow and terrible. Such an easy case for a mother who didn't even chase after alimony, only wanted the very basic things awarded, they failed miserably. Do not recommend them. The 1 star is a default 🤷

I am writing this review on behalf of my brother (I am sure the response would come from Bettina / Sean that we never met or spoke to Pratap as our client). We had worst experience with Yanez & Associates (Bettina Yanez, Sean Yanez). Bettina Yanez and Sean Yanez are NOT GOOD PROFESSIONALs and NOT COOPERATING with client. In fact sometime, it appears that you are TRAPPED. She cares for only money but the problem is that your "ALL THE MONEY" WITHOUT ANY GOOD SUPPORT. "VERY VERY VERY RUDE BEHAVIOUR": Client writes email and reply comes wrapped in arrogance, OR demand for more fee OR most of the times..."NO RESPONSE". She doesn't have the time after collecting indecent fee. One of such bad experiences: My brother was suggested by her to file a motion and he was asked to pay the fee. After paying the fee, she disappeared and the motion was never filed and he kept following up with Bettina/Sean. There are so many other such bad experiences, which I would rather not cover them all over here. My brother paid to her multi thousands of dollars almost every week / fortnight to her and all in vain, he only got stress and arrogance from Bettina and Sean. We were left with no other option but to kick her out and change this lawyer. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER TO ANYONE IN FACT WARN OTHERS "TO BE AWARE OF" THIS LAWYER ! Over to you Bettina / Sean: Write back that "you will get this post deleted from google" as it truly represents you !

Bettina and her family law firm helped my mother-in-law with her divorce. It was extremely helpful that we were able to find her an attorney that was fluent in both English and Spanish. I will recommend Bettina and her family law firm to my family and friends.

I hired bettina to fight my ex husband for custody during a child custody investigation. She said she would be there at court, and she was the first time....my ex was sneaky and got a continuance. Th next court date i got a call on the friday afternoon before court on a tuesday following (monday was a holiday) and i was told "oh by the way bettina cant come tuesday so her son will be there". Since it was almost 5pm on a friday and monday was a holiday and court was 830am on tuesday..i was screwed to try to hurry and find someone else. Her son presented himself as a very new new new naive lawyer. thats fine for him to learn but not at my childrens expense with my abusive ex husband. her son didnt say much much of the time we were there except telling me stop crying. the judge almost ripped my custody away because he was incompetent. If i get told it will be her representing me then it should be her. I understand things happen but then get a more experienced lawyer to represent clients then. My ex is trying stuff again and i have to hire another lawyer. It definately wont be Ms. Yanez or any of her staff. Spend your money on someone who will show up or at least have experienced people working for her.

I would like to share the great experience I had with Sean Yanez. I needed to change my name on my birth certificate and had difficulty finding an attorney to assist me. After contacting Sean, he and his assistant Angelica took care of everything. I am very satisfied with them.
