Jack Russo is the best lawyer I've ever known, and I mean that in several different ways. First, he's incredibly knowledgeable. He specializes in intellectual property startups, but there isn't a single area of the law--landlord-tenant relations, securities issues, employment, you name it--about which he doesn't have a sound working knowledge. Second, he's incredibly thoughtful and creative. I've never had a discussion with him on any subject--and my acquaintance with him goes back decades--from which I didn't gain fresh insight and understanding. Lastly, which maybe should be firstly, is his commitment to service. When you bring a problem to him, no matter what the problem is, you can be assured that he will concentrate his thoughts and efforts on it in the most thorough way. Dealing with him is just an amazing experience.

Jack is extrordinary in analysing a situation from all views (not just legal), and comes up with amazing insights and ideas on how to proceed. As a tech founder, I feel very fortunate (and protected!) to have him on my side. I am extremely grateful that a friend referred me to him.

I found out Jack Russo and Computer Law by Googling just two days ago. I had two phone calls with Jack Russo the first one for about 2.5 hours and the second a day later for about 1.5 hours after reviewing certain documents I sent to him. I am just amazed by his exceptionally creative points he brought right of the bat. I know it is not just Jack's vast experience but he is super creative! I have been dealing with my current case for over 2.5 years, talking to many potential attorneys as well as some I signed up. He has impressed me immensely with the way he approached the case from legal standpoint in those two calls. I only wish I had met Jack Russo 2.5 years ago. Ximpleware's open source technology was illegally used by a third party ISV. With some friendly referral, we were introduced to Jack Russo and his team. Usually, with a guy with such a high profile, you would expect Jack to let his team to do most of the work, it turned out that Jack was very hands-on and directed most of the meeting agendas. I was very impressed by both his energy and the clarity of his thinking. Eventually, with Jack handling the final negotiations, both of XimpleWare's patent and copy right suit were settled out of the court. Overall, I am very pleased with XimpleWare's decision to work with Jack, whom I think is a consummate professional, and will definitely recommend his firm to anyone.
