This is a long overdue recommendation for Becker Nelson Center & James. Our LLC has been a client for several years and we've always received top quality counsel and service. We've worked with Crystal Center and she has done a variety of projects for us ranging from tenant leases to litigation. She does a super job balancing practical needs with getting what's best for our business. I highly recommend this practice for others!

This minors counsel effectively destroyed the relationship between my husband and his teenage kids. She was ignorant, apathetic, and gender bias regarding the abusive actions of their mother and due to her extreme negligence there’s NO contact between my husband and his kids. In fact, each false claim made by their mother (court documented) was proven false (also court documented) and she was admonished by the court judge for her lies-however Ms Newman ignored these facts and also ignored when mother engaged in these same contemptuous actions and encouraged kids to break contact with father. There’s been ZERO follow up from her or attempt to give same efforts towards the relationship between the kids with their dad as she did to ignore the kids and what they said about their mother and the abuse-and now the other young teen kids (kids of moms husband) living in the same damaging conditions that were reported for years to Ms Newman have recently run away from home!! But Ms Newman remains unconcerned and doesn’t act. Please PLEASE do not allow this “attorney” into your lives, seek help elsewhere. The case file is public record and there’s info on the run away too-look it up!

Laura is an amazing attorney! She has handled both my estate planning and creating a trust. I found her to be professional, personable, and caring. I absolutely hate Barbara Newman I feel like she's working for my dad, I want to live with my mom but she won't listen to a word I say. Example: she says "How would you like to spend the summer with your dad in Minnesota?" I say "I wouldn't like to" (next meeting) "You're going to visit your dad in Minnesota this summer." If I could I would like to give her zero stars.
