My husband and I came to Ms. Penhaligen via a recommendation. I had mentioned to a friend that we were looking to set up a trust and that one of our biggest concerns was providing for our cats should both my husband and I meet an unexpected early (i.e., youthful) demise. If I had to describe Jane in one word it would be "Godsend". I called her the day after my father died (three years ago) and she has consistently assisted and assured me ever since. What should have been an easy trust has not been and Jane's calm, knowledgeable assistance has made a difficult situation survivable. My ex-husband was the absolute worse. You could of made a movie out of my divorce process and even the 10 years that followed. He is a very difficult person even in the courtroom representing himself. Most attorneys couldn't handle him but Karen Gallagher shut him down every single time. She is never intimidated keeps her cool and remains professional. (My ex would come to court and call me stupid and throw daggers at me and karen while representing himself. This man even tried to take my kids that weren't his, property I had before I met him, stalked me by sitting on my street even caught him going through my trash in the middle of the night, told lies on me to my whole family, etc. etc.) You could imagine how stressed i was not understanding the divorce court process thinking he may get away with doing all the things he was threatening to do, but Karen Gallagher shut everything down. It took a while but she made a fool of his accusations and protected me like a baby cub. I recommend her with the highest recommendations. She has a high retainer fee (at least for me) but worth every penny. If you want a smooth worry free experience hire someone who will get the job done. Hire Karen Gallagher. Karen has a charm about her, and she is very down-to-earth. She knows first hand how crappy child custody and support issues can get, and has wonderful insight on what paths to take and what the possible outcomes may be. She did my prenup for me, and she brought up issues and stanzas I didn't even think of, adding protection to my business and assets and all the what if's when I die. I super recommend Karen!
