I have been planning to have a living trust for several years. I found Brian’s website on line. I really wanted to find a lawyer who was specialized in living trusts and wills. I had such a great experience with Brian! Before I came to Brian, I thought about estate planning for a year prior to meeting him but never acted on it. Having a living trust was just a lingering thought. Whenever I got on a plane or did something adventurous the thought of unplanned mishaps bothered more often then I imagined. Even worst I had no estate plans. I finally went online and searched for a nearby attorney so I google "Trust Fund Attorney". This brought me to a few lawyers and I browsed their websites. I requested a few appointments online and Brian emailed not long after to set up a consultation meeting two days later. I met with Brian and he was very professional. The first question he ask me, besides how I was doing, was "my reason for starting a living trust and what I was looking to accomplish". I told him everything I had in mind, he wrote down every detail and was EXTREMELY engaged. I knew I wasn't paying him for his time but he didn't mind answering all my questions, he even took the time to explain them thoroughly and gave me great suggestions. After answering all the 100+ questions I had, he then told me the cost and did not request a retaining fee. I was shocked that he did not want a retaining fee (like most lawyers I've dealt with) but was most concerned about whether this was the typed of service I was expecting and was looking for. I knew that I was going to hire Brian to execute my documents because how professional, HONEST, sincere, helpful, and patient of a character he showed during our meeting. After meeting Brian I didn't look into any other lawyers. After leaving his office feeling confident, Brian kept me in the loop during the trust draft and ask if there were any last minute changes I would like to make or add anything additional. What a detailed oriented person! I finally got my living trust completed and I feel accomplished! Now I can get on a plane or go to hang gliding class and feel at eased! Brian was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I would explain to him what I had in mind and he knew exactly how to make it happen. My husband and I learned so much from him. We feel very comfortable knowing that our trust was done exactly the way we wanted. We had done a trust many years ago and that lawyer never took the time to explain or really hear what I wanted. He collected a huge sum and that was it. Brian on the other hand will take all the time necessary to hear what his client is saying and what the client wants. Very reasonable rate also.
