Cervantes was appointed as my childrens advocate to decide custody issues. Went to his office and spoke to me for 15 min. Coz one of his “paying” clients was waiting. I spent more time paying the secretary $175. Court date came he tells the judge ex was a more competent parent. Kids were living with me for 6 years. Kids lived with my ex for 1 month. How could the children be closer to their mom. People beware of this CON who is easily manipulated by the other party. If the judge appoints him to represent your children request for a replacement right away. If you end up stuck with him ASK FOR HIS REPORT before the court date!! He never interviewed my two children.

I just received a Notice of change of address (FL-040) apparently from my son's Mother although with Cervantes & Donoso Attorneys at Law listed as the new Attorney. My first document received from this lawyer and this is what I'm dealing with: 1. Has the wrong case number, 2. Mispells her own clients name 3. Did not provide POS Substitution of Attorney MC-050 with Mother & Attorneys signature (which makes this FL-040 worthless) 4. Ask previous lawyer Sandy Turner the verdict.

very poor effort even with all the evidence she was still being bullied by the other lawyer, then before a court date she spend more time talking and friendly conversation vs the opposite party than she did with us,. beware of paying your retainer to her,. she will do nothing and charge you way overpriced
