Had a phone consult with Steven Mulligan that lasted 11 minutes. After a few minutes of normal conversation, he became progressively more hurried, rude and condescending, telling me he's got other leads to call. Guy couldn't even pronounce my name, called me Roxy. If you want a lawyer who rushes you off the phone and treats you like a checkbook, then call this guy. If you want a professional, look elsewhere. Literally every other lawyer I spoke to before and after him was a breath of fresh air.

I am 21 years old, and I graduated college in May 2023. When I started college, I didn't have the credit history to obtain a private student loan for tuition expenses, and I didn't know anyone who would co-sign for me -- and my parents weren't in the position to do so either. Having a decent job at the time, I had the 'bright idea' to obtain a personal loan through my credit union (Founders FCU in SC) to pay for my tuition expenses. Each year I borrowed a little more to pay for each semester -- the loan ended up reaching a whopping $10,000. My credit union also talked me into applying for a credit card -- which I did and had a limit of $5,000. My fall semester of college I lost the job I had throughout college, and having no income until my internship started the next summer, I wasn't able to make the payments and they eventually went into charge off status. Also, during my Junior year in college, my grandmother needed a loan for medical expenses, and her credit was not good enough to qualify on her own, I agreed to co-sign for her, which was dumb, I know. It was a smaller open line of credit ($2,500) at State Employees Credit Union in NC. Around 6 months in, she couldn't make the payments, so I paid it off for her. Unknown to me, she took out an advance on the line right before she passed, and I found out shortly after and was stuck with the bill, and that did not help with the fact that I had lost my job and was already drowning in debt that I could not pay. That account went into charged off status as well shortly after. I have been in a relationship for a couple years, we recently moved in together, and the struggle of being approved as a co-applicant due to my credit made me realize that I needed to get my credit back in shape. It's easy to give up and forget about it, but I know that in the next 3-5 years we will want to buy a house, and I don't want to be the one who makes it difficult because I haven't addressed my credit situation. I have attempted a settlement and payment arrangement with Founders FCU and they have surprisingly been very difficult to work with -- they will not settle and will not make a payment arrangement with me. They also told me that they have filed a judgement. The loan through Founders is still accruing interest as well, but the credit card is not. I got a secured loan through NFCU in March for $300 at a 6-month term, after that a friend of mine who is an attorney recommended PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST to me, which I quickly contacted and explained my predicament to them. They gave me 100% assurance that they’ll bring my credit back to shape. Within 6 days they made my State Employees line of credit reporting as paid and some of my debts marked as paid which boosted my score to an excellent score. Mohela student loan no longer appears on my credit report. All thanks to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for helping me gain my happiness back, I sincerely recommend them. Hit them up on email:

I searched for California prenups online, and one of the first names that came up was Steven Mulligan Esq via the caprenup.com link. I saw that they specialized in State of California Prenups, so I immediately entered my information for a free phone consultation. I received a call from Steven Mulligan's office almost immediately for a phone consultation. The consultation was that same day and Steven explained in detail about the California requirements and waiting periods for an enforceable prenup. Next was a questionnaire of assets that needed to be filled out. Once I completed the questionnaire, Steven immediately replied again on the same day. The next step was to officially hire him as my attorney and make payment in full. In just a few days I received the first draft of the prenup to present to my fiance. She then had her attorney review the prenup and requested a few changes be made. I accepted those changes and asked Steven to make the changes. Those changes were made over a weekend, and I received the final draft the next Monday. The final step was to wait the full 7 days California requires before notarizing the document. I now have what seems to be an ironclad notarized prenup in a fireproof box and feel confident my kids will be taken care of in the event of anything happening in my future marriage. You won't find a better priced, better experienced family law attorney than Steven Mulligan. Just listen to him and maybe even take notes while he's talking to you because he knows what he is doing

This review is long overdue! I had terminated services with my previous attorney representing me for a prenup who charged by the hour and didn't get work done in time, who was just focused on court deadlines. I'm so glad I switched to Mr. Mulligan. My prenup was drafted by the opposing attorney. I know everyone gets bad reviews, but I had a great experience with him. He charges a flat, reasonable fee and answered all my questions. Mr. Mulligan answered all my questions, texts, and he was easy going. After you are done with the review, he will send you a summary, which I saved in case in the future I need it.

Being a professional myself, I can say that I have delt with many different personalities in the past, but none of them has been as unprofessional or as rude as this attorney. Besides his inappropriate behavior, he took our money and never gave us the prenuptial agreement. We reached out to him several times, but was unable to reach him. After 5 months, we finally reached him and he didn't even remember us. We asked for our money back and he said, "you're not getting anything back if I worked on this case at all." He may be fairly inexpensive compared to other attorneys, but you get what you pay for. Or, in our case, you pay for something you don't get at all.

Reached out to him via email and asked him how much it would cost to acquire his services. He gave me a responsible quote and I said I would reach out to him via phone shortly to discuss next steps. A couple of days later I made the call and he ask's "Why has this been lingering?" Then he says "Its a red flag which someone doesn't take action right away. I have great clients and I am not sure I will work with someone presenting red flags like this". I explained to him that I was working on this in tandem with several other things that were going on as I have had some major life events unfold over the last few days, along with a full work schedule and a big commute." He responds with "Well you think you are the only one that is busy? You think you are special and being busy is unique to only you?" ..... I hung up the phone then and there. Give me a break! Are we in 4th grade? I will get someone on the phone who wants to treat me like a customer and work with me to build the prenup that I need.

Attorney Steven Mulligan was referred to me by another attorney who had initiated a prenuptial agreement between my fiancé and myself. We each needed to have our own representative attorney to keep our best interests safe. We were in a time crunch and Steve was extremely helpful and very professional in explaining the steps to be taken, and the document's legal language and any implications that could concern me. He was very prompt at either immediately answering, or returning phone calls for questions and exchanging documents via email, especially under such short notice. I would highly recommend him :-)
