Billed 2.5X more hours more than necessary (IMO) and attempted to justify with standard “expertise” and “fee shift” arguments because the other side had a podunk attorney. Didn’t know their client was a former legal team PM for one of most valuable companies in the world and sought a 2nd opinion from someone at much much bigger firm. Point: I know how law firms and attorneys work, and I know how Jr. and unnamed partners are incentivized to bill. I called B.S. on their billing and at the end of the day, attorneys provide a service. Like any other service, if the value isn’t there for the customer, the provider gets fired.
