Hired to file a custody change request. Went MIA and missed the court date and disappeared for months. Caused irreparable chain of events that caused permanent damage. I cannot say enough to warn someone away.

Very thorough with the details and definitely didn’t give into anything that wasn’t in my interest. My case was a divorce, and although I hope to never go through that again , I wouldn’t hesitate in using Flora again. Thanks again for your hard work and patience!!!!

Flora managed a complicated divorce case inherited from a retiring lawyer, eliminating the drama and bringing a fast and final close to it. She was always compassionate yet professional, and fair in billing- staying within budget. She was efficient, creative and resourceful in problem-solving, and had a good rapport with other professionals. She was always honest and acted ethically. I'm very appreciative for everything she accomplished.

Let's face it, custody hearings sucks. Everyone involved is hurt, angry and out to get each other. Flora was awesome. She was honest and didn't dance around the topics, or try to gloss over what wasn't realistic. She was matter-of-fact yet empathetic to my understanding of the system. It took thoughtful collaboration and great patience to arrive at an outcome that benefitted my child. I would recommend Flora to anyone who is looking for a lawyer who cares more about the person than the bottom line. The caveat, you have to be ready to put in the time because it's never a slam dunk and that's the truth. The system doesn't change for anyone and most lawyers are seeking to monetize conflicts. That's why I chose Flora.

Flora represented my for my dissolution after the attorney who handled my legal separation moved to another state. Despite some challenges, including opposing counsel who seemed determined to drive up fees and make things difficult, Flora persevered and proposed a solution that ultimately allowed us to file the petition jointly. Throughout the time we worked together, I was impressed by Flora's knowledge of the law and procedure, her willingness to explain things to me (sometimes repeatedly), her capacity to listen to my occasional rants, and her ability to keep her eye on the ball and move our case towards resolution. She was also impeccably honest, keeping me regularly advised as to the fees I had incurred and the status of my retainer--something I cannot say for opposing counsel. If you want a lawyer who is honest, fair, and capable, then Flora is an outstanding choice.

I hired this lawyer for my divorce case. We spent time reviewing the documents, discussing the case, preparing for court, and agreeing on my position in regards to asset division. She billed me for all the meetings, calls and emails. However, at the court, I was not allowed into the judge's office and I found out that Flora Garcia Sepulveda misrepresented me! As a result, the judge did not consider my side and I lost assets. Worse, this lawyer lied to me, her client, for months that she told the judge what we agreed on. I don't know what were her interests, but they were NOT my interests. Then, when it came to filing the court orders, Flora went along with her misrepresentations and lies and, although the orders were against my case because of her misrepresentations, she NEVER objected. Those orders were against what we decided together and were in my worst interest. Today, I still suffer from the consequences of hiring this dishonest lawyer. Her conduct was the worst I've ever experienced: she not only misrepresented me at court, she had never advised me of the legal actions we could have taken to prevent the financial and emotional damages that happened to me as a result of her misrepresentations. I felt totally betrayed.

This attorney only cares about money and not her clients. I hired Flora to represent my divorce case at court. Flora promised a lot and delivered very little. Her conduct was below what she presented herself to be. She was unprofessional, never prepared for court, didn't take the time to learn the details in the case, misrepresented herself, and more. Flora didn't care about me or my family. I was really devastated to realize how indifferent she had been in representing my case at court. For a lawyer who deals with domestic abuse she should know better when pretending to help victims. My experience with her was frustrating, a waste of money, and a huge disappointment. Stay away from this attorney and save your money and peace.

If i could give this lawyer zero stars, i’d do it with no hesitation. Bad experience with long term bad consequences to me and my family and my child. She billed me excessively for work I haven’t ask for or agreed on. This lawyer doesn’t care about you, doesn’t care about the consequences to your family and, in my experience, she only cares about her money. Her performance at court was way below par, to say the least. There were a few times where she told me that she wrote and filed legal documents in my case, however, later i found out that she didn’t. My advice is completely based on my experience: stay away from this lawyer and save yourself huge disappointments.

Flora has a strong repoire and mutual respect with the judges. Flora helped to settle the financial aspects of my case - despite my former spouse's attempts to thwart - after 2+ years and multiple attorneys. She does especially well with difficult opposing counsel and on several occasions I have witnessed opposing counsel be threatened with sanctions while Flora remains focused and calm. Unlike other family law attorneys I've worked with, Flora is professional, fair and always well prepared. She has a well rounded legal foundation that spans multiple areas of law which benefits her clients. She seems to really care about her clients; her rates are reasonable and she's an advocate of educating her clients and encourages them to take on certain elements of their own cases to help increase long-term knowledge and limit fees.
