My experience with Christian Schank was great. I needed last minute representation for a domestic violence restraining order trial and so I called into his office. After doing a consultation, I hired him and he successfully defended the restraining order and was legit in court. He is a very skilled attorney. He was very aggressive in court and I could tell that is where he excels. All in all, I was stoked to have Mr. Schank as my attorney.

Perhaps the worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer. First thing to touch on, the rates are absurd $325 for an email? Secondly do not expect any actual work to get done, there’s a reason they want you to pay up front, they are in no way going to try to close the case but rather they just want to financially take every penny they have. I took one good review and unfortunately listened to that. After talking with some other prior clients I am now aware what I read online for good reviews are likely fraud. Double and triple check all options before you go with this lawyer or you’ll pay a lot for no results.

I don't think I can find the words to describe Mr. Schank and what he did for my children and I. Nearly six years of my children and I being bullied in the courtroom. Every single road block stacked against us. Mr. Schank came into my case after four other attorney's did nothing but waste money. Mr. Schank got results. He was relentless and doesn't give up. He is ethical, smart, and I felt he really cared about my kids and I. If you have a high conflict case, where you keep getting stepped on, he is the attorney for you. I had not had a good night sleep for 6 years until Mr. Schank took over my case. My nightmares are over and my children for the first time are going to get to voice their opinion. Not only is Mr. Schank the best lawyer I have ever seen, his office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like a person when speaking with them and not a dollar sign. I got the sense that the entire office was pulling for my kids and I. There is no better lawyer than Christian Schank. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I hired this law firm to represent me during my divorce. I paid them close to 10k and they did nothing. I had multiple paralegals switch in and out of my case because they could not keep their staff employed. Each time they would charge me to review my case. Additionally, they switched my attorneys out multiple times without notifying me because the attorneys either quit or were fired by the law firm. My divorce should have taken no more than a year to finalize because we had no mutual assets or children involved and yet it took over 2 years to complete. In the end they closed their Oakland office or so they said and transferred my file to their Sacramento office, so I had to either self represent myself or find a new law firm. I ended up self representing and finalizing my divorce within 6 months and they weren't able to do that within the 2 years I had them as my attorney. This law firm is highly unprofessional and not worth the money I paid. I also asked for a copy of my case file and still have yet to receive it a year later (which is illegal, as they are required by law to give me a copy of my file when requested) STAY AWAY AND DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM

All they were supposed to to do was get my child support case transferred to the city where the originated, which they said was no problem to represent me, and common. Day before court, they are telling me I need to drive 5-6 hours to be in court. They forgot they were supposed to represent me there, and the whole reason I spent $1200+ for them to do that. They ended up not getting the case transferred, and my child support increasing by 316%. They were very unprofessional, as I had to fill the same papers over, because apparently someone got fired, and my info wasn't passed on properly. It was handled by lower level people, and sold me on what they were going to do for me, then just filled up all the hours, to give me a refund of $47... Worst experience for my if my life, dealing with this group. So disappointed.

I had contacted this firm to try and possibly help me with a child support case. They were ever so eager to get my $250 retainer. Once I left a deposit, an appointment was made with an attorney the following day. This attorney was 30 minutes late calling me, I had to actually call them to see if they forgot about me, he finally called me once I reminded them. We spoke for only 30 minutes, and all he told me was that I should barrow money to pay off my ex-wife and that was all the strategy he had? Give me a break, I thought of that years ago. So seeing they didn't give me any advice and couldn’t do anything for me, and that they offer a one hour case evaluation and up to 30 minute free consultation, I asked for then to refund my deposit. After three days of no refund I finally received a call from their office manager telling me that they were going to keep the $250, and that I was given (which I wasn't) legal advice in their mind that was worth the $250 and that I was lucky, they normally charge $500 an hour? Never again will I call this agency.

They assigned me a 4 year licensed attorney. There were so many words misspelled in my declaration. I complained to my attorney, he talked to me on the phone and asked me where to fix the misspellings, then they charged me 1 hour at attorney rate to fix the mistakes they made. A new attorney who did not read my case went with me to my court. While I asked supervised visitation for the abusive Dad, the new attorney told the judge that Mom understood how Dad missed the children.

I was extremely pleased with how I was handled when I first called this office for some legal assistance with my case. The receptionist answered and seemed very in tune with my needs and transferred me to another women who was going to assist me further. When she came on the other end of the phone, she was very highly knowledgable and she listened to me as I explained my situation. My ex-girlfriend and I broke up a couple of years ago, and I hadn't been in contact with her since we broke up. Just a few days ago, DCSS served me with child support papers for a child that I had no knowledge even existed. I didn't even know how or even where to begin in dealing with this. I contacted Schank & Associates for some help and was given the information and the guidance that I needed. I really felt that the information i was given would be helpful and it helped me understand the procedure and process that i was about to encounter. I had no idea how complex a case could be when it's involving a child. All the necessary steps that need to be taken and how complicated the court system could be if you don't know what your doing. It was overwhelming. I owe the person who assistance me an who was very knowledgable and highly informative with what I needed. I am giving my appreciation and thanks for helping me understand and providing me the information I needed in order to understand what I needed to do. I hired them to fight my custody case and paid over $6000 and saw no results. The custody resulted even worse. I had a young Asian girl representing me. She was very immature and spent most of her time arguing with me. I felt as if I hired a firm to fight against me. She believed the other party and tried falsely accusing me of hurting my daughter. I couldn't believe this. I gave up. These attorneys stressed me out and I gave up. It was a nightmare. I hope people read my review and decide to go elsewhere. Even representing yourself would be the best choice.

My experience with Attorney Christian Schank has been overwhelmingly positive. After calling a total of 14 attorney where the first 13 just wanted money and a lot up front just to talk to me. Then I found Tad here and he listened and talked with me. From there I was set up to talk with Daniel who was also willing to listen to me and talk as well as understand what I was going through and I felt very confident that this was the team for me in my case. Plus the communication from Christin making sure I was getting all the paperwork need together from was spot on. Then I found out the that Owner of the company was going to represent me at my hearing. I was honored to hear this. When I meet Mr Schank I knew that he will fight my case like it is his own, and that is what he did. It wasn't in the court room it was all outside and when it came court time it was over in minutes with a dismissed case. I can't thank Tad, Daniel, Christin, and Mr Schank enough for all they did and the team work they have. I highly recommend for anyone to use Mr. Schank and any of his Associates.

I have already referred Kim to several of my friends, and if i have any further issues i keep her card in my wallet. I dont want to go into detail of my case, but i will say that Kim knocked it out of the park. She got me the victory that my son and i needed. It was the best experience from beginning to end. It seemed like everyone at the office was in contact and active in my behalf. For once, someone had my back in the courtroom. To top it off, the retainer was very fair and do-able. And to top it off some more, a third of the retainer was refunded, WOW !! Your not going to find a more honest professional team anywhere. I decided to hire an attorney a couple months ago for my custody case. I was in way over my head. I heard a lot of bad stories/jokes about attorneys and was very uneasy about calling attorneys . I made a few calls and it seemed like the stories were true most just wanted to talk about money and how much it would cost. I called Christian Schank law firm I felt they were very professional and i got a genuine feeling they wanted to help. I can honestly say I have had a good experience with my attorney and all the staff. We still have a way to go but im glad i have someone who knows what there doing on my side...
