In July, I was arrested and taken to jail for public intoxication. A friend and I had a drink prior to going down to the pool at her place to swim. My friend went up stairs before I did & I had plans to meet her upstairs. Next thing you know someone called the police because they were “worried about me”. The police arrived and “just wanted to check me out”. When they arrived in I was sitting poolside getting ready to go upstairs. Not running. Not swimming. Not being a disturbance. Not naked. & definitely not driving. Somehow I ended up in jail. I was terrified because i’ve never been in any trouble & I have a professional license.
