Lori provided a detailed outline of my case with possible outcomes. I was unsure what the results could be had I not hired her to represent me several years ago. I am happy to say because of her knowledge and tactics to get me a reasonable sentencing, I have turned my life around. Lori is personable and never let me feel like I am below. I found myself after a bad trip type drug related disaster, in a jail cell trying to recap what had occurred in the last few hours with an out of control set of charges laid against me with up to 17 years in front of me. At 2am my then girlfriend, now wife called several recommended lawyers in the riverside area and had a great feeling when talking to Lori. Of those we called, Lori answered and despite not having a previously existing relationship, she walked my wife through how to post my bail and met with us the next day. She listened to what i remembered and was realistic with the charges and what it would take to go to trial. She worked on my behalf for over a year and was able to work a deal with the DA that allowed me to keep my job and work out a sentence on house arrest with the ability to still go to work for 12 hours a day, instead of prison time he was pushing for. After the case and completion of probation, she counciled me through the expungment process. I am now back to being a citizen that can vote and live my life with the struggles of just over 5 years ago behind my family and I! Lori was the rock during uncertain times that with refreshing certainty and honesty toward the reality of my situation, guided me back to stable ground! Thank you Lori for the faith you showed in me and your help in bringing me past this shaky and terrifying experience!

I first stopped in at Carter and Associates. They told me there was no way to do what I wanted done. Two other attorneys told the the same thing. Lori Meyers expressed to me that her colleagues told her she was "crazy for trying" but she stuck with it for a few months of research and put together a motion well argued and cited on point.
