I had the experience/expense of working with Mr. Sherlock. I had initially retained his partner Sara. She went on maternity leave and due to their other partner completely bumbling a judgement. Jason stepped in. He talked a big talk. Made me feel at ease. But actions fell far far far short. Emails went unreturned for a good amount of time. Paperwork not filed on time but sent to the courtroom clerk last minute. I spent two years and tens of thousands of dollars with this firm. Trusting their advice and the process. I am baby steps ahead of where I begin.

Jason and his staff helped me through a custody situation on two separate occasions. He and his staff are wonderful.

This review is seriously long over due. How ever it needs to be known that Jason and his staff are highly qualified family law attorneys. Being a former family law paralegal in the Sacramento area myself... Many many years ago. I know a little bit about how things work in family law. I have never seen an attorney, their partners and staff work as diligently and thoughrou as this team has done for me and my child and my family. Thank you Jason and Sara. Your expertise, communication and compassion is the reason I am a family with my daughter again.

I am so glad I found Mr. Sherlock as a lawyer. I had an hour consultation with him and he helped my fiance with her child custody case. Instead of milking the appointment, he went over every concern we had and gave us different options with our case. I was unsure at first about hiring a lawyer, but this law firm is without a doubt the most experienced and trustworthy business I have come across. Needless to say, I found our family lawyer for life.

I had an attorney for 18 months who looked great on paper but was not giving me the attention and service I needed. I spent way too much money and was getting nowhere. So, I spent a great deal of time and money researching for a new attorney. I did not want to get in that situation again. While he was talking to me during our consultation he was also scanning my court docs and other paperwork. I was very impressed when he was able to accurately summarize my situation, point out some concerning aspects of my case, and tell me how he would move forward in such a short period of time. Mr. Sherlock is clearly knowledgeable and assertive. Both he and his staff have shown me excellent customer service. He is readily available and responsive. I am very relieved to have found the representation I wish I had during the challenging stage of separation and/or divorce. I would highly recommend him.

It is never easy for a parent to go through a custody battle. The emotional transitions you have to watch your child endure and feeling helpless. It is never easy to open up and share your fears to anyone especially not a complete stranger. When I first met with Jason I talked to him about my situation, my fears and what I hope to prove to the court. Jason was honest and openly communicated with me. He made me feel listened to and like I didn't have to go through this battle on my own. He became my trusting advisor and friend. He has helped me have more time with my son and is still helping me fight for what's best for my son. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and understanding. He even makes the best coffee to help make the meetings more comfortable. He gives 100% to his clients and will do his best to help you. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone who is going through any family custody battles. He truly is one of a kind!

Jason did more than listen to me tell my children's stories. He heard. He did more than sympathize and express platitudes, he helped develop a strategy. He humored me when I needed him to, but he never lead me astray. He was honest and forthcoming about what the court typically does in child custody cases, but he was also willing to fight the conventions and norms to help them. Jason did what no other could do. We succeeded and my kids continue to benefit from the outcome. They credit Jason with helping them, when no one else would. Each case is unique and different, and his method of practicing family law is to approach each case based on its unique characteristics. Families and children are not cookie cutter, neither is Jason.

My husband and I both would highly recommend Jason Sherlock. His last name fits him well! He went above and beyond the call of duty for our family support case and brought us to our ultimate goal, which was full custody of our two kids. He shot the facts straight and educated us throughout the process. He is very knowledgeable and highly respected in the court, which is most important. Family Court isn't quick, easy, or fun, but Mr. Sherlock made it as enjoyable as he could for us. I would definitely recommend him to anyone searching for a family law attorney.

Jason did a great job representing me in a child custody case. He was able to assist me in preventing my ex-wife from moving my children out of state without my consent. He was very professional in his appearance and demeanor in court. I also appreciated his honesty, and advice about my particular case, it was very helpful in my decision making process at a very difficult time for me. He also overseen and assisted in outlining a new child visitation schedule that put me as the father in a better position to spend more time with my children while still respecting their needs and wants (my children are both teens). I would most definitely recommend him and would not hesitate to retain his service again if needed.
