Melissa Cianci and her team made the entire divorce process so much easier on me, from a mental, financial and overall perspective. They were sensitive to needs with my children, my time and my dollars. I truly appreciate all they did for me during that time and would highly recommend their services. Melissa, especially is extremely knowledgeable of the law, family issues and the overall process. She is top notch.

I have been represented by Melissa for about 15 years and Kevin for 2. Both of them are nothing but the best attorneys in the Sacramento area. When I first began the child custody process I was pretty terrified. The thought of not being able to see my daughter gave me many sleepless nights. Melissa took on my case and was amazing. She was a staunch advocate for me in the court room and has remained that way for 15 years. She has always taken the time to respond to emails and phone calls in order to quell my anxiety and fears with this legal process. About two years ago, I had to go back to court and Melissa could not make it to that particular appearance. Kevin came in her place. I was initially a little nervous to have another attorney represent me. My nervousness was put to easy as soon as I met Kevin. When Kevin arrived we spoke and it was clear that he had spent time to understand the complicated background of my case and was able to advocate for my daughter with the same ferocity as Melissa. Kevin Cecil represented me in my divorcee case a few years ago and most recently in a two day DV trial. He is always prepared for the hearing, takes time to address any concerns I have before Court and listens to my input. He demonstrates the upmost professionalism in Court and is always respectful. Kevin Cecil was absolutely amazing. He worked my very tough DV case against my ex who was in Colorado. He and his team stood behind me every step of the way. My ex husband's lawyer was absolutely horrible. She dragged what would have been a simple case out for over 3 full days in court. Kevin was confident the entire time that we had him nailed to the wall. All in all we did! I will forever refer any of my friends to him who are in need of a family lawyer.

Mr. Cecil was great and always professional and courteous to both sides of the mater. He was always well respected by the court every time we were there. Divorce, particularly if contentious like mine, is a traumatic, isolating experience. And if children are involved, a father's instincts to protect them adds a further dimension which requires vigilant advocacy. Cecil and Cianci is a family of lawyers who really get this 'family' component. I will always be grateful for their representation. Their offices are easy to reach and have good free parking. The decor is comforting, professional and not overly ostentatious. I have always been greeted by name by the front desk staff and made comfortable while waiting for any appointment. Paralegals, attorneys and notaries are all reliably on time. This has been helpful in minimizing the inevitable anxiety. Cecil the Elder is a retired judge who is often to be encountered there at the offices and who is respectfully and warmly remembered in the courts. Kevin Cecil is compassionate,knowledgable and energetic. He encouraged my questions and observations, and proved to be a pugnacious and effective advocate in court. My occasional encounters with Ms. Cianci suggest the she too manifests these virtues. On the rare occasions when scheduling conflicts required a substitute, the firm's associate attorneys integrated seamlessly. I can say that the comforts my children and I now enjoy are due in great part to the effectiveness of Cecil and Cianci. This is not bargain-basement representation - divorce is not cheap - but I will affirm that I received high value for money.
