Recently, I hired Counselor At Law Mr. Noel Lawrence to assist me in settling a matter with a company that takes advantage of senior citizens. Because the seniors are not expected to live a long life, the company overcharges the seniors. The company is counted on the seniors to "kick off" soon, thus the company can keep the property and funds of the seniors. This is not true. Mr. Lawrence knows his way around a courtroom. He went after the company with an intense professionalism. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Lawrence as a Counselor at Law. I found him to be extremely helpful with my situation. Steven

If you have been to family court, you probably know how frustrating it is. I have been dealing with a custody/visitation case; and this attorney has been very helpful providing information about ways to present evidence. He's not an arrogant attorney like the big majority. During my consultations with Mr. Lawrence it became clear that he is technologically savvy. That's very refreshing as I work in hi-tech and sometimes find the whole legal industry behind the times.

I was looking to hire construction workers. This one guy came to look at what had to be done. Then, unnannouced, he showed up with another guy on Friday at 7 pm. I was then staying alone in a cabin in Big Sur, isolated, in the middle of the woods. These two men coming without having told me was really scary. I asked them to leave and to make an appointment if they want to come onto the property. A week later, that same guy knocked at my doors saying he wanted to see the inside of the house to figure out how he should do the roof work. It was Saturday evening. This was really scary and I called Noel to ask for his opinion on whether the construction worker was possibly stalking me. Noel was great, discussed the situation with me and gave me some resources to use. Fortunately, it turned out the construction worker was legitimate, just that he did not understand much English. But I'd recommend any woman, any person who has concerns of similar nature to consult Noel. He is truly knowledgeable, easy to talk to even in a difficult situation and dedicated to helping his clients.

I am a homeowner, in a beautiful home, great neighborhood, with a problematic neighbor.  I called Noel with some trepidation as I wasn't sure any attorney would want to take on our case. After a few minutes talking to Noel, he was extremely thoughtful and supportive of our concerns and after months and months of stress, finally gave us some hope that we were not alone. He made me comfortable and had me laughing about our situation. He's lived through similar events and really understands his clients' stress because he's been there too.  Noel specializes in helping adult victims of crime, stalking, and bullying.  We found our neighbor to neighbor dispute involved all these areas of law.  Noel was instrumental in moving our case quickly towards a resolution. Noel counseled us and sent an attorney letter on our behalf. Until Noel and his letter, we were unable to have our neighbors change their behavior. They finally listened, found their own attorney, and started the discussions that we had wanted to have for almost 8 months. Based on letters we received from their attorney, my husband and I believe that even though he had more years of practice, he did not seem to know this area of law as well as Noel.  On our behalf, Noel entered negotiations with the other attorney.  In our opinion, the other attorney tried to escalate the situation, but even though it meant fewer billable hours for him, Noel remembered that if possible, we wanted to both stop the neighbor’s bad behavior AND limit the costs.  Without unnecessary litigation, Noel helped reduce or eliminate our main concerns, and for now we will try to live with some of the more minor issues.    Neighbor disputes are extremely difficult and a less honest attorney could have made a lot of money off of our dilemma.  Noel’s billing was fair and we’re grateful.   If problems re-arise, or if we need a friendly but potentially aggressive litigation attorney, we’re calling Noel!
