Leslie Ramos defended my rights, because she believed in me, and knew the truth of my situation. I was made out to be a monster for crimes I did not commit, and Leslie met me before she took my case, to determine whether I really did what I was accused of doing. There's always another side to the story, no matter what. And Leslie Ramos knows that. When she realized that I was being prosecuted purely for the Sacramento DA's reelection, and that there was no direct evidence, even no solid circumstantial evidence, she knew I was innocent. Even with national news against me, she fought tooth and nail for me, because she believed in me. Leslie Ramos is the only lawyer who would fight like that for me, no other prominent lawyer would, and it is because of her that I am out to do what I've been doing since coming to Sacramento; participating in organizations that donate towards both Veterans and Orphans, making sure they are clothed. I consider myself lucky that Leslie represented me, and helped me all the way through the trial. She is smart, dedicated, and a true professional. My son was attacked by three musicians and two of their groupies and defended his friend after they attacked his friend. It was a highly publicized case because the alleged victims later posted social media falsely accusing him of assault with a deadly weapon and making homophobic slurs, leading to a knee jerk reaction of the DA to re-arest him and charge him with hate crimes. Leslie pointed out all the discrepancies between what the alleged victims told the police, their medical records and their testimony in trial after seeing the surveylance video which was at the location. The pro-DA judge disallowed much of the evidence which would have made it obvious to the jury that my son was innocent. Nevertheless the jury is hung enabling us to continue fighting if necessary. She is amazing, concise and gets to the key issues quickly. Our family respects her and recommends her highly. Greg

Leslie did everything she said she would do for me. I was charged with a felony but she worked it out where I received a misdemeanor that I can get off my record in two years. I never hired a lawyer before but it was worth it. I have know idea what would have happened if I didn't.

Leslie is thorough, commited, and an excellent communicator. She took my case on a Sunday, made initial contacts with the CHP officer running my case, and followed up and followed through to completed resolution with the DA. It took well over 6 months to resolve and Leslie explained all my options along the way and was exceptional at keeping me informed and pushing my case to the lowest possible resolution. Leslie was ultra-professional and very helpful throughout. She responded immediately to any/all questions or actions throughout the process. She successfully got one felony reduced to a misdemeanor and was able to get a sentence modification done on the charge I was in custody for, so I could rejoin my family in San Jose under private monitoring.
