After incurring a large amount of medical debt, my husband and I were forced to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy. After researching multiple attorneys, we decided to go with Fraley & Fraley. It was the best decision we could have made. The initial cost was more than reasonable, especially since our situation was extensive and we had a lot of special circumstances to deal with. Gary Fraley guided us through every step of the process. We have been in bankruptcy since 2014. During this time, I have had to contact them on multiple occasions. My husband and I received several calls from creditors in the beginning and were able to simply refer them to our attorney. His team handled everything. In addition to these "expected" calls, I also was contacted by my ex-husband regarding a joint student loan (we consolidated them before our divorce and student loans are not discharged in bankruptcy). My ex and I do not get along AT ALL. I contacted Mr. Fraley's office and explained the situation, specifying that it pertained to payments with the student loan (which was supposed to be on hold during our bankruptcy). His staff acted as the mediator between my ex and I so that we did not even have to talk to each other. Mr. Fraley's team was very professional and cordial to everyone involved. There have also been other instances that have arisen that our attorneys have handled without any issues (i.e. Bank of America disputed our claim in bankruptcy, so Mr. Fraley had to file petitions and go to court on our behalf….we won). Just recently, we went back to his office to ask further questions about our particular situation and what to expect once our last payment was made in 2019. Mr. Fraley met with us and reviewed our file completely. He answered every question that we had. He is very thorough, accurate, and detailed. During every encounter, Mr. Fraley’s team has been very polite. Meeting with Gary Fraley individually, however, will make you understand why his team loves working with him. He is very funny, polite, patient, and committed. Although our case has required more contact than originally expected, he has not made us pay more fees. If you choose Gary Fraley to be your bankruptcy attorney, you will never regret it. I highly recommend him and his team.

The staff in this group are very helpful, not just at the onset of your bankruptcy, but throughout the duration. We sought help in filing for bankruptcy. Brian explained to us the nuances of each type and helped guide us to which one was best for us. In the end, we filed a chapter 13 with a 5-year repayment plan for the vehicles we kept. A year later, i was contacted by my ex-husband requesting help with a previous debt. Dana, a representative with Fraley & Fraley, gladly acted as the intermediary so that i did not have to speak directly with my ex (we despise each other). A couple of years after that, we met with Gary at the firm to discuss options that suited our current situation (change in income, student loan debt, etc). He was very well-versed in all of the matters and provided excellent guidance. If you have come to the point in which bankruptcy is the best option, you definitely want to go with Fraley & Fraley. I needed a response to a summons being served to me for an old, old debt, and found Gary Fraley's shining reviews here on Avvo.com. I was glad to find that his office was located near me in Sacramento, and called him right away. Sean helped me make an appointment for the very next day, and was helpful and courteous. My trepidation was instantly dissolved at the very first moment I met Mr. Fraley. He was extremely well-informed (he actually teaches other attorneys in his field at convention workshops), easy to talk to, and treats you with respect. Although he breaks down the process into layman's terms so that I could understand everything, I could tell that he knows the technical ins and outs of my case. He's of the great era of business, when such services were performed with a dignity and aptitude one finds lacking these days. I got all the help I needed in my situation and more, and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again for any legal need in the future. I really think I've found a friend in the legal business, one that I know I can count on.

I'm someone who was embarrassed to be filling bankruptcy, however Fraley and Fraley was very informative, non-judge-mental and supportive during the less then two month process. They were amazing from start to finish! They explained the whole process in detail, didn't rush or pressure me to go with their firm and made me feel comfortable from day one.
