When my husband passed away unexpectedly, I needed to consult with an attorney about estate matters. My husband and I had a joint revocable living trust, and I wanted to make sure that the trust provisions were correctly handled after his passing. The attorney we'd previously worked with to create the trust had moved out of state. I spent time online researching attorneys, and was drawn to all of the great reviews for Klosek Law Offices. I'm so glad I found Jack and his team! Working with Jack is a pleasure. He's knowledgeable, responsive, detail-oriented, conscientious, and easy to work with. He was very caring and respectful during a time that was extremely hard for me. After providing legal advice related to my husband's will and our joint trust, Jack worked with me to create a new revocable living trust, advanced directive, and will. Parts of my trust are a bit out of the ordinary, including a rather complex pet trust, and Jack was great at listening to my wishes, answering a zillion questions, and making sure everything was properly addressed in my trust document. Estate planning? Jack is your Attorney! He is intelligent, knowledgeable, professional and very gracious as Jack came to our home to conduct our meetings. Jack was quick to respond to answer all my questions in detail for me to understand "trust verbiage." He made us feel very comfortable through out the entire process and showed us that this is his passion, helping people get their affairs in order. He even was gracious by eating a "yogurt & banana" when my husband wouldn't take no for an answer! How can you not like a guy like that! Usually my reviews cover the ambiance and clientele of a cafe or eatery. It’s never a hard sell and it’s almost as satisfying to review as it is to eat and drink at the said establishment. But this review is different (although in the end it is also an easy sell). I had to see my lawyer, but first I had to find one. So what does one do who seeks an individual who one trusts with their finances and their life in detail? I googled “estate lawyer” to find out. I left messages for random names, one of whom was attached to a practice here in midtown. My method worked; my first meeting with Jack Kloseck was successful in that he was patient, he was well-organized, he laid open the strategy and the work ahead of us. He looked like midtowner. In fact we worked out our plan of action at the Outlet, office space rented out for each meeting. I really felt we were moving forward. Afterwards, we often communicated by text and by phone. I never felt self conscious calling Jack for an update, he brought me up to speed and he answered my messages promptly. I heartily recommend Jack Klosen who helps the client zero in on the legal matter of one’s problem, giving back the confidence and pragmatic assurance for one then to carry on.
