Peter is thorough, extremely professional, kind, and has provided the kind of hard work and peace of mind my wife and I needed to get through some very taxing, challenging processes. We cannot thank or recommend him enough.

Here’s the short version Peter is available, kind, caring, patient, dedicated, thorough, and an overall standup guy. He cares about his clients and it shows. If you’re searching for a lawyer for anything immigration related, you don’t need to search any more, you found your guy. Now the long version I heard of Peter through a friend, and I am so incredibly thankful to my friend for pointing me in Peter’s direction. Words can’t show how thankful I am that we had the pleasure and privilege of working with Peter through our green card application. Peter made the process incredibly seamless, keeping us informed of where we were in the process, any delays, any additional documents we needed to gather. Whenever we had any questions, Peter himself was there to answer them promptly. We initially started working with Peter while he was a part of Carson & Kyung, A Law Corporation. Along the way he left that firm and started his own. Not one to leave things unresolved, Peter reassured us that he would see our case all the way through because of the commitment he’d made. Covid made our case far more complicated than it should have been, and through it all we saw how incredible Peter is and how much he cares about his clients. During the application process we moved away from the Sacramento area, putting us in a different jurisdiction. Unfortunately our interviews were repeatedly rescheduled in Sacramento. Each time this happened Peter took action immediately and kept record of every call he made and letter he sent. Unfortunately USCIS made an administrative error that resulted in an initial denial for our case. Some lawyers would look at this situation and think “great, now I can make double the money from the same client” but not Peter. Peter went back and memorized the entire timeline of our case: every interview notice, every file submitted, dates of when he sent the request for the interview to be moved to the appropriate office, EVERYTHING. Then Peter went in person to talk with field agents at the Sacramento field office and didn’t leave until they acknowledged that they had made an error. I was completely blown away by his character, and when I thanked Peter for going above and beyond, he said “I do this because you guys are my clients and entrusted me with your case. This isn’t right”. Needless to say, I would HIGHLY recommend working with Peter to anyone and everyone that is looking for a kind, patient, dedicated, and genuinely caring person that will make the immigration process seamless. The price we paid was an absolute bargain for the peace of mind that we got.

It was excellent experience with Peter. I took consultation appointment and i was impressed with peter that how much effort he was ready to put in. He showed me clear path about how we can proceed. It sounded very honest, realistic and straight forward. I decided to go with him and i saw same passion, commitment, detail and result oriented from beginning to the end. Throughout the procedure he was very responsive almost right away whenever i had any question through email. Everything was on time from peter. There were times when he supported me like a brother. Working with Peter was simply the best experience we could ever wish for with an immigration attorney. Peter went above and beyond to help us with our cases. After USCIS denied our initial Adjustment of Status (filed without an attorney), my wife and I came to see Peter, and he completely turned it around. Within several weeks of working with Peter, we filed another I-485 AOS, and our case was approved in just a few months with absolutely no problem. Two years after, we worked with Peter again on I-751 Removal of Conditions, and he made it look easy. Peter’s levels of responsiveness and thoroughness were amazing. He is incredibly detail-oriented and left no stone unturned. As a result, we got a confirmation that my new Green-card is on its way, and it has only been seven months since we filed! Peter is also one of the kindest and most compassionate people we met. From the first day of speaking with him, Peter had made us feel that he genuinely cared. His remarkable knowledge of immigration law, relationship with USCIS, and incredible professionalism are just a few examples of how exceptional an attorney he is. Peter knows what he is doing. He has been my immigration lawyer since 2018 and together we have filed two cases: I 485 and I 751. And let me tell you, both cases were filed exceptionally well and my wife was approved in both cases. They were prepared and filed so well that my wife was approved in 7 months for the I 485 (most cases take more than a year) and now 6 months for I 751 (same here too, most cases take way over a year for approval). You should at least have a consultation with Peter and I would highly HIGHLY recommend you to hire him as your immigration lawyer. We will be coming back for my wife's naturalization application next year.

Peter is very professional and knowledgeable about immigration laws and the whole process, from beginning to the end. He helped with the adjustment of status for my wife. It was a long process due to COVID-19, which put our case on hold for about a year. It was very stressful to not hear anything back from USCIS but Peter kept in contact every step of the way, easing our minds from beginning to end. He is very responsive to emails and phone calls. He provide a detail explanations of the whole process and always get USCIS letters first and emails us right away even before we would get the letters. He is very personal and definitely wants the best outcomes for us. I like his mock interviews as this help my wife and I prepared for the interview and the mistakes we made. During our interview, we ran into a little hiccup and Peter quickly assessed the issue and put my wife and me at ease and provided further explanation after the interview. Still more wait time after the interview, but Peter again, communicates and put our mind at ease while we wait. After the whole process of about a year and half, my wife finally was approved thanks to Peter. I look forward to working with Peter again when it’s time for my wife to apply for citizenship. We can’t thank Peter enough and definitely will recommend him to everyone.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Peter Kyung. Peter came highly recommended from both a friend and a family member who had hired Peter for their own immigration processes. I had originally hired another lawyer who i had found online but I was feeling like just another case so decided to change over to Peters office before filing and boy was i glad! Immediately i could see how thoroughly Peter handles his cases. On top of this, he is honest, professional, genuine and extremely responsive, all while providing a personal experience. We chose Peter when I applied for my greencard case and it was the best decision we've ever made because he did not only guide us throughout the process but he also prepared us for the interview process and other stuff. Peter just called and told me the great news. In just 5 months he was able to get my permanent resident case to pass, I am beyond impressed with his work ethic and empathy towards his clients.
