I had a great experience with Berg. Noemi is the best. She was so helpful, communicative, professional and willing to listen. Never felt like I was bothering her when I called to get an update on my case. Overall a pleasant experience, thankful to have had her on my case and fighting for me. Great law firm. Caring staff. They will take care of you!

I have been dealing with the Berg in Sacramento, on Arden Way. 95825. Let me start this with saying Lorraine at that office is incredible! She knows her stuff, is beyond friendly, and is incredibly professional. Love her. When I first called Berg, they seemed very friendly and very helpful. I wasn't even sure if they would take my case, but they did. As time went on, they told me that the man had an insurance policy of $50,000. They implied that they were going to be going for that amount. And like a good lawyer, they didn't say they definitely were. So first I had my hopes up really high about the money I could get back. I just paid off my car, and then, I had to go out and buy another car. I now have another car payment. And then I was seeing the doctor, I thought okay I'm going to recoup some of this money. I knew $50,000 was way too much to get back. But I honestly thought I would be getting about $20,000. I tried multiple times to correspond with people at Berg, and I wouldn't get a call back. I always got sent to voicemail. And then when I did get a call back it was always a different person. My accident happened in March six months later I had an attorney calling me saying that they had received the first offer. Of $1,000. My jaw dropped. She said that amount at least three times. I said no. I didn't hear from her again for another two weeks. We talked again, and she said oh no I meant 1700. I explained again about the amount that I've heard when this whole thing started, and she said oh no no no, that wasn't going to happen. So I waited. Two weeks later I called Berg again and got somebody completely different. This time I got a wonderful woman by the name of Lorraine. What a breath of fresh air. She was helpful, she listened, and she finally settled my case. I know my case wasn't that important. Or it would have been settled earlier. I know my case wasn't that important because of all the different people on it and the lack of communication. But it was important to me. And the amount of money I was told, wasn't even a fraction of what I got. I still have a car payment. I ended up having to sit at home. I also ended up in the ER 5 times due to heart issues because of the stress brought on by the car wreck which led to other things. But nobody wanted to hear about that and it wasn't ever taken into account. Lorraine was the only one who listened. Thank God you guys have somebody like Lorraine at your office. She is incredible. Will I ever go with Berg again? No. I would not.

4/2/21 Update: Case settled. Took over a year for them to get enough to cover what I payed out for medical bills as well as lost wages. They stayed in contact and asked about my son each conversation which was nice, but I can't help but think that had I gone with a different company I would've gotten a higher settlement. I've heard from several friends that they've either gotten or known people who got a much higher payout without any injuries. I had weeks of physical therapy and I could've lost my baby(blood test showed a rupture). I still have anxiety when driving because of what happened. Bottom line- They became more family oriented after I first posted my review. When the case settled I got enough to cover medical bills, lost wages, car rental, and any other bills accrued due to the accident. 10/13/20 Update: Case not settled yet, but I am now confident that Berg is doing all they can for me. They have called to check in on me and even sent flowers when my boy was born. That seemingly small gesture along with their good communication shows that they are not giving up on my case and they're trying to live up to their word. I will still post an update once settled. 9/30/20 Update: I was contacted by the boss of the woman who I was working with who reviewed my case. I was assured that they are working to make sure I get the debt accrued due to the accident paid. I will further update this review after my case has been settled. I'm hopeful for a positive outcome. I was in a car accident while I was 3 months pregnant. I was terrified that something happened and through a blood test given by my OB found that the cells had slightly ruptured. This caused my body to start rejecting my baby. I was able to get a shot that protected him. I decided to do some research, called around to find a good attorney. Even though the fees were higher than other companies, the person I spoke to seemed knowledgeable and straightforward. They assured me that all of my expenses accrued due to the accident would be taken care of and I would even have some extra due to the trauma caused by the scare of possibly losing my baby. 'Don't worry, we'll take care of everything' they said. After months of reassuring me that everything will be taken care of, I now find out that the amount that I will be receiving will not even cover my expenses. I thought they were supposed to fight for me? I thought everything would be taken care of and I didn't have to stress? The last phone call I got she didn't sound like she fought at all. She said that there's nothing she can do unless I want to go through another process that would cost me even more and is not guaranteed to get more. I do not believe that they fought for me. I believe that I was just another name on a long list. They still get their 33% plus extra expenses and I'm still in the hole. I was counting on them and they did not deliver on their word. The only positive thing is that I am due to give birth to a healthy boy soon!

Will work hard for you like they did for me

Berg injury lawyers is basically a scam. They advertise well but they do not produce any results. I could never get a hold of my attorney and they were willing to take the first lowball offer just to settle my case and be done with me. I had to force them to keep giving counter offers or threaten them to go to court just to get my case settled at a decent amount. Berg injury lawyers then sent me a contract to sign and had me notarize it and then the modified it after I had signed it without my permission. Do not use them

They listened to all my concerns and offered valuable insights to my case. Whenever I had a question they always answered it. Anytime I needed to talk to them to check something they were always available for me. Even with the COVID 19 they still continued to make themselves available. By the time they finished my settlement I received 4 times more then the first offer. My accident was the end of October and they managed to get me an awesome settlement by June. I would recommend Berg to anyone who needs a great lawyer.
