I want to thank the highly esteemed team at Baron Family Law for helping me get custody of my daughter! The generally accepted consensus is that single Fathers may typically have a harder time gaining custody of children. I have hired several overpriced family law attorneys over the 5 years of my custody battle with little success. Having professional attorneys represent me was a financial burden that I could not afford to continue paying considering the sluggish pace of the legal system and the exorbitant hourly rate that attorneys charge. Running low on funds, I had no other choice but to begin representing myself. After doing some research and talking with friends, I was able to find the team at Baron Family Law and scheduled a consultation with Alexandra Baron via a quick and painless phone call. Miss Baron prepared for our meeting by compiling a folder containing all the forms I needed to complete and explained how to fill in the blanks. She gave me physical and electronic pleading paper that was properly formatted to use for my attached statements and instructed me on the proper way to format the documentary evidence in the form of exhibits so the court would consider the information. We discussed several different strategies on how to accomplish my overall goal and she provided me with exceptional word tracking and cited relevant examples of case law similar to cases as my own. Over the next week I followed her easy to understand instructions and structured my cluttered thoughts and statements into a 50 page formal document designed to grant me custody. The times I wasn't sure on what to include, or needed input on what order to place something, Miss Baron patiently and promptly assisted me via text/phone/email with her systematic approach and adept advice. I went from being a complete layman, to feeling confident enough to represent myself in court without looking foolish. It only took two appearances in court for me to receive sole physical custody. And four appearances to receive sole legal custody. I am so grateful for all of Miss Baron's help and feel deeply indebted to her. The time and money she saved me and value she provided is priceless. Needed a lawyer for a prenup. Alexandra Baron and her team were quick, efficient and very knowledgeable. All correspondence and scheduling (outside of the phone calls to discuss legal documents) was done via email, which I prefer. All instructions were clear and easy to understanding, and everything was handled in a professional manner. Very satisfied.
