To be sure, I would highly recommend this attorney. During what was supposed to be a quick and easy divorce, my original attorney passed, causing me to panic, as my ex husband had hired a large firm attorney from Sacramento and I was up in Chico. What I thought was the worst case scenario, turned into the best thing that could have ever happened to me. My husband's firm chose to try to use the death of my attorney to their advantage , claiming I was not responding fast enough to their constant high pressure, but Mr. Carroll never once buckled under the stress, and resolved the divorce quickly and efficiently for me. What attorney would call me at 8pm or on weekends? I was anxious about the many texts, phone calls, and misinformation I was receiving from my ex husband. With the counsel of Mr. Carroll, I was able to comply with unreasonable amount of paperwork for over the three years we were trying to get divorced, over the Christmas vacation, no less! Mr. Carroll never once was curt with my need for explanation of what I needed to do, and was willing to meet with me to help me understand the legal documents that I was repeatedly asked to provide, even though many times it was during the holidays! He was informed, polite, and effective, standing strong to this high pressure big city firm, resulting in a sizable cash settlement and very reasonable monthly income for me. He defended me, as I am 64 years old, when my husband's attorney's were trying to convince the judge I could continue to work. I will always be grateful for Mr. Carroll being willing to take my case, especially due to the unusual circumstances of my case, as he already had a full load of clients, and yet, he went over and above in giving my case the attention it needed to get the job done in most peaceful way possible for a divorce. This supposedly "easy" divorce turned ugly when the Sacramento firm saw they had a chance to get me, but Mr. Carroll made sure that I was compensated fairly.

My brother got himself into trouble at 18 years old and was looking at 25 years to life in prison (six felonies total). Thankfully someone recommended Robert to us and my brother is coming home to us today with only 1 felony, 5 yrs probation and got out on six months time served. Robert seriously worked hard to get my brother out he had a terribly tough case in his hands and couldn't have been any better of a lawyer. Having to hire a lawyer is a lousy situation. You put your future in the hands of someone else. I have had to retain Robert twice this year. First for a restraining order and second for custody. I spoke with a few other lawyers in town and Robert was the only one I was able to really get a good vibe about. My cases were extremely odd due to circumstances and I feared a long blown out ordeal. However, he was able to get both cases completed in a very timely matter and all decisions were in my favor. I have recommended him to anyone I know that may need a lawyer.
