He was upfront with me and attentive to my matter. I was new to Sacramento County after relocating from Los Angeles county. I volunteered for a temporary restraining order in SolCal because I wanted to work on a dead marriage. My ex wife filed multiple falsified law enforcement that landed me a case in the Sacramnto District Attorneys Office. Ryan and the Friedman Law Firm are the best legal cousil I have used and I have used at least 3 other firms. I needed 3 DUIs and a felony (evading a peace officer) from 10+ years ago taken care of. He went to court for me while I was at work and got the 3 DUIs expunged and the Felony reduced to a misdeanor, then expunged as well. Everything I needed done was done all in one day and at one reasonable flat fee. I could not be happier with the outcome and highly recommend him for any legal needs. About 2 years later and I'm finally getting around to this.. But better late than never.. Ryan really helped me out when I was in a sticky situation. I had just gotten back from vacation and had gotten in a "conflict" with the law. Ryan was awesome and of course won my case for me. I didn't even have to go to court. -since I had also just gotten back from vacation and blowing all my money on that, Ryan was really understanding and let me do payments with him which I thought was really great or else I would've been screwed without a lawyer. Great experience overall for my first time dealing with a lawyer.

I retained Ryan to defend me for a misdemeanor traffic citation. I found that Ryan's experience and expertise with this issue was superb. He is affiliated with a bigger company called SHOUSE Law Group. He was able to negotiate a deal that ultimately reduced the misdemeanor to a traffic infraction/parking ticket and therefore left me with NO criminal history or conviction on the original charge. Ryan is fantastic! He's worth his weight in gold and totally helped rebuild my life by defending me. Professional, assertive, aggressive, and no-nonsense. He's the genuine article and sincerely believes in defending the accused. He's a good man and a GREAT attorney. When I was arrested and charged I was really freaked out. One phone call to Ryan and everything was better. He had a professional game plan, a very calm demeanor, and was honest about all possible outcomes -favorable or not. By the time we reached arraignment, Ryan had given me enough confidence so I could continue living my life. Throughout the case communication was always prompt and detailed. Ryan employed several confidence inspiring tactics when defending me, which always left me with the impression I had a real fighter in my corner. He began the case very mild mannered and cooperative, but when the DA tried to steam roll me, he ramped up and became very aggressive. By the time the case was dismissed, he had built an avalanche of evidence that pressured the DA into submission. At the conclusion of the case, even the DA said, "your attorney is very good!" He's a force to be reckoned with and the kind of person you want to have in your corner.

I met with several different lawyers before hiring Ryan. The reason I hired him was because he spent the most amount of time with me during our first consultation where the other attorneys seemed mostly interested in pressuring me to sign up quickly. Ryan listened to what I had to say and never treated me like my case was unimportant even though it was just a misdemeanor, and I know that at the time he was working on much more serious cases. The best part was that he was able to resolve my case without me ever having to go to court. If you're in a legal pinch he's definitely worth it!!!

He is a good attorney although he can do a lot more to be better. He could have been more helpful. He worked my case and compared to other cases my outcome should have been better than the one I had to pick because of him.
