She won every battle for me. The whole staff is so comforting, caring, and they have your back. I would highly recommend her. She is an amazing lawyer and has an amazing team. I am in a way better place in life because of them.

JL Valdez, is an incompetent lawyer that should not be practicing law, I have read so many bad reviews about J Valdez, and every bad review that she gets , I Read and feel the same way. Her Staff is more knowledgeable than her. This woman the moment I paid her a Retainer, she did what she wanted to do, Nothing! Her Legal assistant did all her work. I thank God that he showed me who I needed to have as my Attorney Mr. David Heisler

In my Opinion.........Worst Lawyer ever. Shows up late to court, never goes over anything prior to court so she ends up standing there staring at you like it's your fault she's not ready. Rarely calls you back you only hear from her team and they know less then she does. Don't waste your money.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Extremely disappointed. Documentation was inaccurate, listed wrong case number and Court Address. I asked for copies of documentation and never received it. A judgement was due to the court 7/6/23 and was not submitted until 9/25/23, which was then rejected due to a lack of signature (which I had warned them about). My concerns were not addressed in a timely manner, I sent emails and voicemails which were hardly ever returned. Save your money, don't bother with this law firm.

Ms. Valdez exceeded all of the expectations and saved me from having to pay anything or do any jail time which I’m certain would have been the case if the opposing party had their way. Because of her resolve I’m very happy to say this case was ended in one day.

Worst attorney ever. Charges you but doesn’t do any work. Never sends copies of court documents or orders tells you she will go to child support court for you but does nothing there awarding other party with everything.

I have 4adjectives to describe my experience with this attorney; unprofessional, Complacent, incompetent, and slyly. Firstly, I'd like to clarify that I am not giving this firm/attorney a bad review because they/she didn't accomplish a favorable result with my case. I have had a few lawyers that didn't achieve a win in a few of my unrelated cases, however, I can genuinely say that I believe they did all they could. With this attorney, I am basing this, solely, on my observation of, and experience with her/ them. I hired this lawyer by referral, to help me fight for my children, and based on our conversation, I frankly thought that I made the right decision, but boy was I wrong. From the beginning this attorney mishandled and was insanely negligent with my case starting with her not showing up to court to contest my case as she should have. When I showed up to court that day, the opposing counsel & her client weren't there and so wasn't my attorney that I was paying to represent me, just me sitting in front of the judge with the Judge asking me why no one else showed up. I wasn't sure what her intent was, whether to prolong the case or if she wanted to purposefully sabotage it. Getting information on what was going on was like pulling teeth. I'd call and text and will get no response for days on. When I finally did, the attorney would tell me one thing, then her secretary, Ramona, would tell me something different. Though, I can clearly tell you that the attorney was the one giving telling lies/false information. I say that cause she did it multiple times through the span of my case with her, which made me not trust her anymore. I kid you not, at some point during the trial, I saw this attorney sometimes texting, and other times browsing the internet on her laptop. Imagine how it feels while at trial, your attorney asking you questions about the case that she should already know like the back of her hand because it essential. Yup, I experienced it with this attorney. She put little to no effort in to the case and mostly would imply that it's about money. She had a pile of evidence that could have helped my case but she didn't present a SINGLE one, not one, through out the entire trial. When I told her about the things that concerned me about the case, she would gaslight me & start reciting law codes to make it seem like she's saying something. She gaslighted to the extent that I felt that perhaps I was overreacting. During the trial, you could tell that she didn't prepare to win the case. Though, I must say, She was overly confident for some reason. she over promised and under executed & delivered. This was a fight for my children and their well being and meant everything to me. However, I sincerely believe that this attorney lacked empathy and did not understand how serious this was. To her, it was just another case.

Josephina is a wonderful and brilliant lawyer! Whether it’s her constant communication, her attention to detail, or the empathy she displays, Ms. Valdez has everything you need and want in a lawyer. Family Law and court, in general, are stressful events but knowing Ms. Valdez was truly fighting by my side helped me feel at ease. In the end, I ultimately got what I wanted I could not thank Ms. Valdez enough!

It's not only Josephine herself, but her team that she's assembled to help me with my case. I'm appreciative of her being flexible, working with a stubborn County, also the humility and selflessnes towards working with client needs. In addition, narration to the client as to understand the whys and hows of whats happening. I know the others she works with will receive their due diligence. A pure business professional. Josefina Valdez- A one in a lifetime attorney! Being in a high conflict custody battle for years I have gone through several attorneys. For the most part they are all the same, don’t know your case, don’t take the time to know your case, unprepared and you’re basically easy money and another case on their desk. Your bill keeps racking up and At the end of the day you have found in a deep hole of debt and have no hope for anything further than what you could have possibly gained unrepresented. It’s a dirty game you have to take your chances on, sadly. Now that I got that out of the way let me rant about how amazing Ms. Valdez is…. From the day we met with Ms. Valdez, I knew she was different, she actually listen to what we were saying. That was the first time we had ever experience that. Not only did she listen but she ACTUALLY remembered every single detail of my husband’s case. We not once throughout her representing my husband have we had to remind her of anything. That is such an important quality in an attorney that cannot go unseen, especially when these facts can determine your outcome. I was impressed by her ability to retain all the small important details during a hearing. Ms. Valdez has not only gone above and beyond our expectation of what an honorable family law attorney defines but her honesty has gained our love for her. She has shown through her work the love she has for what she does, her knowledge and expertise in family law has guided my husband throughout this process. Ms. Valdez is a professional and master in the field. She’s affordable, trustworthy and has your best interest at heart. Don’t be fooled by the way other attorney’s market themselves, hire Ms. Valdez, you will thank me later ;) I am beyond thankful for the day I found her. Ms. Valdez- you are truly and angel sent from heaven, your quality work does not go unseen and we couldn’t thank you enough for all that you have done thus far. You are truly the ideal attorney everyone hopes to find. The best of the best!
