My experience with this immigration attorney has been extremely disappointing. When I met him for the first time, he said if USCIS allows him, he will come to the interview with me, but unfortunately he didn't. This lack of commitment and representing me on the phone had severe consequences for my case. The officer hanged up on him and didn't approve my case. USCIS asked me for some documents that I didn't know where and how to get them. In respond of my help to get the documents, this attorney simply told me that he can not help and he doesn't know how to solve it. It was the moment I felt vulnerable and not supported. Then I paid another immigration attorney who gave me the answer I was looking for quickly. He seems nice and his price is good, but unfortunately his service is not good enough to help you. I do not recommend him at all.

Jonathan is a lawyer like none other! He is professional but also personal and caring. He is earnest and straight forward. He definitely goes the extra mile for his clients. Like another review stated: "He is the man!" And he is very reasonable in his fees. He helped my wife get her green card. She was, putting it mildly, hella anxious about the interview. I have retained Mr. Montag 15 years ago, in 2001, He has helped sucessfully with a difficult green card issues for my brother and his immigrated fiancee. Jonathan helped me and my family with five immigration cases. I came to the U.S. in 2001. After five years later, I applied for citizenship in 2006, but FBI and the Department of Homeland Security held my file for 1.5 years for no reason. I went to the immigration office many times and asked about the process, but every time they just told me "FBI pending." I started looking for a lawyer to solve the problem. I contacted several lawyers, but they all asked for $7k or more. Eventually I found Jonathan, and he only charged me $1200. Jonathan sued U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), FBI and Homeland Security. The court date was about one month from the date he sued. Immigration settled with Jonathan and gave me a citizenship less than three weeks, and we dropped the case. Next, Jonathan helped my sister and her family to get U.S. residency. He did all the paperwork, and everything went smooth and fast. Finally, my wife recently got his help to change her immigration status. It took only about three months from the date we applied to get her residency. We all appreciate him so much for his honest and efficient work for such reasonable fees.

Mr Montag showed to be very knowledgable and able to proceed promptly. He was clear and responsive at all times. he kept me informed of all developments of my case, through e-mail and phone.

We were looking for a lawyer for an immigration case for my wife and I. We went to see a few lawyers until we picked one. A few of the lawyers gave us bad advice, one was even trying to convince us to have my wife leave the county and go through a consulate process. Mr. Montag was the last lawyer we spoke too. He was the most reasonably priced. During our initial consultation he verified everything we had questions about. He also allowed us to setup a reasonable payment plan. He made us feel comfortable and was always on top of everything. It feels good knowing that the person you are working with you can trust.
