First and for most I want to thank god for connecting me with HKM attorneys. Before I connected with them, I talked to several bad attorneys that said I didn’t have a case against my company who clearly discriminated against me for years. It was so frustrating and emotionally draining knowing that I’m getting discriminated against by my employer who I worked hard for over 7 years and to get fired unjustly. I talked to about 15 total lawyers, which most of them said I didn’t have a case and then I spoke with Cecilia Brennan who was an attorney from HKM. This is when my prayers was finally answered. She made me feel confident that we had a case and that she will fight for me like a mom will fight for her kids. Long story short we won 😊. #justice . Cecilia Brennan went above and beyond to provide participants in our workshop an excellent training on the legal considerations of starting a worker owned cooperative. We had to revert to an online session at the last minute due to COVID-19 and Cecilia was still able to deliver a presentation that went above expectations.
