I recently had the pleasure of being helped by Cecilia Brennan of HKM in San Diego. Cecilia was flat out great! I needed someone to review a separation agreement received from my company to determine if it the terms were fair. I also needed someone to evaluate potential areas of discrimination. First, Cecilia helped me manage the time I had contracted with HKM by breaking it up into short session so I would get the maximum use of the time I paid for. She then reviewed the document and gave me tips on areas that potentially were areas of discriminations. She also identified sections of the agreement I should redline to insure mutuality. Finally, she helped me self advocate for a better agreement financially. The end result was a 138% increase in the settlement offer! I am sure there are other people and companies out there that would charged a high price and in the end left me with nothing to smile about. Cecilia was not one of those people. BTW, besides providing great counsel, she is very calming and nice person too. I highly recommend Cecilia Brennan!
