Aline Gaba represented my daughter in her appeal to the SSA for permanent disability status, ably guiding us through a process that lasted fourteen months. From the first meeting, and throughout the entire time, Ms. Gaba was calm, patient, and thorough as she outlined the process and advised us about what documents and records would be required to give our case the best chance of success. It was a lot. But she prepared me by being clear about the odds for cases like ours, and supported me by being accessible, responsive, and by sharing the benefits of her experience. This helped motivate me to organize the records I already had and to acquire the additional documentation that would strengthen our appeal.
One’s first court experience can be daunting; mine was a positive one, handled well by a skilled attorney.

Through the very lengthy process of Social Security appeals, Ms. Gaba showed great patience with me and determined diligence to the end. After successfully crossing the finish line and winning my appeal, I look back and know I could not have done it without her. I am very thankful for her support and encouragement! I have already recommended her services and will do so again! Thank you so much Aline!

I hired attorney Gaba to represent me at the Hearing level of my SSDI application. Attorney Gaba thoroughly prepared me for discussion of the evidence in my medical record with the judge. The time was finally here. Once we were all connected on the phone (hearing was conducted on the phone due to the pandemic), the judge alluded to a Summary Brief that attorney Gaba submitted on my behalf. After the formalities, the judge made an on-the-record approval. Her brief, succinctly and clearly summarized the evidence in my record for the judge, and was instrumental in him making a favorable decision from the facts without moving to the hearing. I would highly recommend attorney Gaba as your Social Security Attorney. Amazing!

I have had the wonderful pleasure of working with Aline for a couple of years on a disability case. She was always prepared for our meetings, discussed what type of information she needed from us, and we discussed our expectations both positive and negative.
Additionally, the Judge responsible For making the decision on my case complimented Aline on her work and performance. I was and still am very impressed.

When I had my first consultation with Aline Gaba her I found her very kind and patient with me as I explained my situation and why I needed her services for an appeal after having received two previous denials for disability. Aline let me know that I had a good case based on the extensive documentation I provided and my health situation. She was realistic with me so I had a ballpark time frame for when I would likely see a judge, when I would receive the decision, and when I would receive notice of benefits if I won my case. I hired Aline Gaba for my disability claim and her ballpark timeframes were right on all counts. While we waited for my court date, she prepared a list of things for me to provide her, like doctor’s notes and timelines, etc. I did everything she asked. When my court date came it was an open and shut case. I believe my case’s success was due to her organization, experience to what the court needs, and her thoroughness. She is a warm person, compassionate, and dedicated to your case. The thing that really stuck out to me was that, besides being a meticulous attorney, she makes sure that you are prepped and ready to show the court your case in an honest and complete way. I really felt like she represented me exactly how I would have represented someone I loved if I were an attorney. From the moment I met her I knew she would take care of my case and me. Aline Gaba is a uniquely skilled attorney and I will forever be grateful for her. My only regret is not calling her sooner.

I met with and ultimately hired Aline after the attorney I had for 2 years dropped my case just a few months before it was going to be seen in court. She was incredibly understanding, kind and helpful throughout the entire process. She prepared me about what to expect well and had good feedback after the hearing. After dealing with this for so long I had become numb to it so I wouldn't get my hopes up about the process so I wasn't sure what to think of how it went and she reassured me that it went well and that she felt optimistic. She was right, only took 8 days for the judge to issue his decision in my favor.

I filed for Social Security disability due to fibromyalgia. I was denied a few months later and given an opportunity to appeal. I knew I needed an experienced SSDI attorney to help me with my case. I met Aline Gaba for a consultation and she was very familiar with my condition. She was very professional and exhibited empathy towards me and my day to day struggle with this condition. She thoroughly explained the process of appealing the decision I received and requesting a hearing if the appeal is denied. My case ended up going to a hearing and due to the efficient preparation prior to the hearing, it went well and the judge ruled in my favor. I am very thankful for Aline’s help and would recommend her to anyone needing a disability attorney.

I have severe social anxiety and was extremely apprehensive about talking with an attorney. I called Ms. Gaba’s office at the last minute, just weeks before my hearing. I was a nervous wreck about going to her office for our first appointment. I shouldn’t have worried. It only took about 5 minutes for her to put me at ease and to feel comfortable. My case had some extremely sensitive issues and she handled them with ease and diplomacy and never once did I feel awkward or embarrassed. I have recommended Ms. Gaba to several friends and will continue to do so. Along with being a wonderful attorney, Ms. Gaba is a wonderful and compassionate human being.

I am a 44yr old male living with Multiple Sclerosis. After being turned down for SSI & SSDI as well as being denied after my appeal; I figured I would just have to live out the remainder of my years suffering. After a few more years of medical bills & no work, I was left financially broken believing I had nothing left to look forward to. So, I decided to apply for SSI & SSDI once again. To my dismay, I was again denied. At that point I made the decision to seek outside assistance. I spent the next couple weeks researching & contacting various lawyers about my situation. All of the lawyers I was able to speak with seemed to make me feel uneasy (as if they didn't really care about my situation)...feeling a bit discouraged, I moved onward with my search.
I then came across "San Diego Disability Law Group" & clicked on the free claim evaluation they have on their website. After a few basic questions, clicked submit & waited in anticipation.
The following morning I received a phone call from Aline.
The 1st thought in my head was "great, another person i have to attempt to explain my situation to, who probably doesn't care"...Boy, was I ever wrong. As I spent the next hour or so speaking with her about my situation & troubles I had previously; she assured me that she would do the best she could to help me if I elected to have her represent me with my SSI claim. I could sense the sincerity, honesty & calming influence in her voice and was more than excited to have her represent me. I then explained to her that due to my mobility issues from the Multiple Sclerosis, I no longer had a drivers license & that I was unable to drive to her office. With that in mind she agreed to work through things with me via email & phone. we exchanged pleasantries & hung up the phone. About 1/2hr later I received the agreement forms from Aline in my email. My excitement started to grow & for the first time in years I had a feeling that everything was finally going to turn out alright. I filled out the forms Aline sent to me & returned them. Over the next few months I forwarded everything I got regarding SSI/SSA to Aline & followed the advice she gave me each step of the way. Aline was always very prompt & professional when responding to any of my questions or concerns. There was 1 time that another lady contacted me after I had sent information & was awaiting a response. The other lady was very courteous & wanted to inform me that Aline was unavailable at the moment & would take care of my questions as soon as she could or if it was something urgent, she could help take care of my concerns. This did not bother me in the slightest bit, because after all is said & done... Aline is out there fighting to help others who cannot help themselves. I hired Aline in mid-July, 2017. Over the next few months she was able to get the SSA organization to schedule the exams needed, collect additional medical history information required to help my case from my own doctors and probably a bunch of other things that I am unaware of. Here it is, the end of October 2017 & I received a letter of APPROVAL with a check for back pay from SSI. This was a very unexpected turn of events (since it has only been approximately 3mo's). To be honest, after talking with others who've attempted or have gotten awarded/declined SSI/SSDI or other programs. Almost everyone of them claimed it took them 1-2+ yrs to go through the process before receiving a final decision.
Choosing Aline to represent me was the BEST decision I could have ever made with regards to the issues needing to be resolved.
I believe she has the "Midas touch"... not because she can turn things to gold... rather because I feel like she has a true heart of gold & anything she lays her hands on to assist in will have the BEST outcome possible.
I apologize to the readers for the long review. However, I felt it only proper to tell my story and share the experience I had after hiring Aline.
best wishes to all
