I utilized Edgar Diaz Law firm to settle my divorce and had an amazing experience. Edgar is very knowledgeable in the field, he guided me and eased my mind about the whole process. I just wanted to write that Attorney Diaz is an excellent attorney and represented me in an case that caused me a lot of sleepless nights. I liked that he always returned my emails and took his time to answer all my questions and relieve some of the stress. My ex filed legal documents against me telling the judge all the lies about me harassing her etc. I couldn’t believe people could just write lies and the court issued a protection order against me, I could not even see my children and I felt my life was crumbling, When I talked to attorney Diaz he told me what we needed to do and he explained things very well. We filed a long response that were all factual and which dealt with each and every lie that my ex used to keep my children away from me. Attorney Diaz made me feel like “we would win” even before we had the hearing. Attorney Diaz talked to me several times while he wrote down the legal documents stating my side of the case. He was very good in court, when he started asking my ex questions about her allegations her attorney would “abject” and try to stop the questioning but the judge kept saying “over ruled” and even told the other attorney that they were making too many abjections. Attorney Diaz then started making really good questions, very precise and my ex didn’t have the answers. After the hearing I thought Attorney Diaz did a very perfect job. The judge took a break and we had to wait like 20 minutes. Then when he came back he dismissed the restraining order in full and after dismissing the restraining order the judge even said that my ex was not believable because attorney Diaz had caught her in a big lie. Attorney Diaz asked her the same important question at the end of the questioning and my ex stated a different answer than what she had written on her legal documents, so the judge basically said she was either lying in court, or did not have enough memory to support a restraining order. I ended up hiring Attorney Diaz to represent me in my full divorce case and he did his job with professionalism and kept me in the loop, He reunited me with my children which is why I decided to give him a good review, and would refer him to anyone who needs a good attorney.

I dont leave reviews however Mr. Diaz represented me throughout a whole divorce process. He saved me millions and helped me keep my business. If you have something worth keeping and need excellent legal representation , call his office. He is an investment. Thank You Ed. Thank you.

This man is a complete joke. From what I have seen first hand he is completely incompetent and uneducated in the laws he is practicing in. I would hate to see how he would represent me during the actual hearing. He never took the time to sit down with me and talk about what I was dealing with from the time he wrote my response to each hearing nor to talk about the hearing itself to tell me what points he would be sure to make so I knew he would be covering everything. The only time we really sat down and spoke was when he wrote my response which he clearly didn’t pay enough attention to. When he was writing out my response for the courts (between hearings two and three), he sent it over for me to review. I did and I made many, many corrections to his file. I spent hours editing it so that it didn’t sound like a child had written it since he kept repeating the same things over and over in different places throughout the ten page document and it was a MESS to follow. He also had incorrect information in it. When I received the document he submitted to the courts it was NOT the one I had edited and gave permission to submit and he basically made me lie to the courts about a couple things. He’s negligent and does not care about the cases he is taking on. When dealing with legal issues, it’s already stressful enough and if you’re paying for someone’s services they should be scheduling things for times and days that work for you. Please seek legal counsel elsewhere. This boy will only waste your time and money - which I am requesting a full refund of. :) Full review on Yelp.

Mr. Diaz was my lawyer for two cases. IT was a big divorce and my ex made a restraining order against me. I was surprised at the restraining order and went to see 4 or 5 attorneys.. Mr. Diaz was the only one that seemed to talk to me about the truth, and didn't try to confuse me with legal terms I did not understand. He spoke straight and direct. so I hired him. That was best decision since he filed papers immediately in court and sent papers to my ex before the restraining order hearing. We went to the hearing and Mr. Diaz knew everyone in court and explained to me that he would do most of the talking because he had filed some papers called discovery and that they would be the way we would win. The judge asks my ex a couple of questions,and my ex started yellling again and saying all these lies about me hitting her and my children. (my children had been taking away because she filed the temporary restraining order) Mr. Diaz then argued something about the discovery and why she hadn't answered certain questions, and why she was changing her testimoney and finally he caught her in several lies, with my wife just mad and saying she didn't remember or know etc. the judge threw out the restraining order and said my wife had to pay me $500 in attorneys fees. Mr. Diaz always returned my calls and emails and did his job like a professional. He got me everything I wanted from the divorce,, and the most important, my kids, he got me half custody of my kids. a lot of people had told me this couldn't be done because I was a working dad and my ex was only a student, but Mr. Diaz got it, and got my spousal support dismissed because of credits the judge gave me for supporting my wife through school. Mr. Diaz is a great attorney and i would recommend him if you want to win your case. I told Mr. Diaz I would refer him everyone I knew and would write good things about him if he reduced my fee. He just laughed,, but I was kidding it was worth it and I would use his services again if I needed an attorney.

Thank you Ed for your help saving my business. It was a nightmare almost losing my family business of 50 years due to misfiled business and tax forms. Mr. Diaz dealt with the city and fought them in court when they refused to settle and wanted me ro pay a 300k lien for alleged code violations. Mr. Diaz quickly files for an extension, got a hearing in front of a great judge who actually got angry at the city of san diego for not correctly filing their own paperwork! Ed promptly asked that the case be rhrown out that same day. (He yelled it). and although the kudge denied that, Ed continue to argue and the judge forced the city to mediate. At mediation a different , very young lawyer from the city showed up not really knwong how to handle Mr. Diaz's arguments. It was as if the city knew it screwed up so they sent in a young lawyer to take the loss. After mediation., Mr. Diaz filed court papers and actually got the full lien extinguished, the full 300k! I will continue to use,Mr. Diaz for any legal problems and feel so relieved that this big problem is done before the new year. Its like a big weight lifted from my chest. It feels great to focus on my business again and to make money and help people. Thank you Ed.

I was arrested, terrified, and my life changed, I had no criminal record, had a good job, college , etc. Ed Diaz was one of the only attorney that I felt really fought for me and worked with the actual facts of the case. He was effective. It did take a long time, and money, but we got a great result.

a good attorney is worth her/his weight in gold. Mr. Diaz is that attorney. I was injured in a store and Mr. Diaz sued them because they were denying they were responsible. I had serious hip injuries. Mr. Diaz made them pay my medical bills, lost work, and also gave me a sum of money that will help me out in the future because the injury caused disability and I won't be able to do the things I used to love doing. He is aggressive. I wish it didn't take so long to finish the case 3 years. but Mr. Diaz said that in if I wanted what I deserved , full compensation, the store was going to put up a fight. A fight they did put up, but Mr. Diaz was their fighting too. He's a good attorney. Sometimes too busy :], but he takes care of his clients in his time.

THanks Ed for helping me with my case when I got into my car accident. This other driver lady hit me as she was pulling out of a driveway. That lady was driving a big SUV and I was driving my compact prius. she totaled my car and was arguing that it was my fault cause she said I was driving too fast and she didn't see me. I contacted a few lawyers and ended up choosing Ed's office. He spoke with me the same day I called, and helped me get my payments for my car and doctor's bill, ambulance bill and I also got treatment for my knee. He also got them to pay for a surgery that at first the insurance company said was "unnecessary", but they ended up agreeing with Ed that my knee injury was caused by the lady's driving and hitting me. He was great, i was very happy with my settlement and I told him I would give him a great review, Here it is Ed! thanks. I was happy with the outcome, worth the wait.

I hired Edgar for my divorce. My ex was a person who always thought he could get away with hiding income, assets, money, and control everything financially. I work, but my ex owned a few business's and when we separated he said that I wouldn't get a cent from him or his business's. It took awhile but Edgar worked as good as I could expect, my ex was eventually ordered to pay for all my costs which was something I wasn't expecting at first. Great work.

attorney edgar handled my divorce. It took a while but the outcome was worth it. i dont want to write about the personal turmoils involved in my divorce, but edgar did a great job in getting the legal stuff in order to help me avoid bankruptcy and losing my kids.
